Anthony Joshua should hire Tim Witherspoon

Good little breakdown of some of the things Joshua did wrong against Usyk:

Philly is some old school legendary. That's exactly what Joshua needs. Philly boxing along with his current base, dude would be an ATG.

Tim can't teach Joshua to have a heart or a chin.

I've been impressed with the things he teaches on his YouTube channel. He's got a ton of old school knowledge for sure, there are right and wrong ways to do things and Tim can explain the how's and why's.

True. But he can help him better complement his offense with defense and vice versa.

Good call. He could do a whole lot worse than Terrible Tim. I watch Witherspoon's videos and find them very insightful. Not terribly surprised as he was a very savvy fighter with tricks and traps. I think about of Tim's style would be a nice complement to AJ's foundation.

Witherspoon got knocked out by James Smith in one round , Usyk destroys him . Yea I’m sure Joshua can learn things but lunacy you guys call Joshua names but he’d never lose as much as Tim just look at his resume if we compared them taking losses you wouldn’t be trolling .

That sounds like a terrible idea.

What is Freddie Roaches boxing record? The point you are trying to make is completely obsolete.

Tim Witherspoon was a world Champion, a World Heavyweight Champion. Being a great boxer does not 100% translate into being a great coach.

Being a great coach is a entirely different role and needs more abilities than just fighting.

There are teachers or lecturers in schools that just teach. They don't build rockets or cars, but they most likely have a better ability at teaching those subjects 'Than the engineers that build the actual machinery'.

This is some very closed off thinking here mate. Anthony Joshua needs to rough up Usyk, he needs to fight like a Heavyweight. Joshua fought Usyk, as if Usyk was the fighter who was out weighing him by 2 stone etc

I have not even watched any of Witherspoon's videos, but I would imagine that he is perceptive enough 'To understand that Joshua used the wrong tactics both physically and technically'.

                  Tim Witherspoon vs world titlists:
W vs Alfonzo Ratliff TKO 7
L vs Larry Holmes SD 12
W vs Greg Page MD 12
L vs Pinklon Thomas MD 12
W vs James Smith UD 12
W vs Tony Tubbs MD 15
W vs Frank Bruno TKO 11
L vs James Smith KO 1
L vs Ray Mercer UD 10
L vs Greg Page RTD 7

He fought until he was 45

Finished with a record of 55-13-1 with 38 KO wins and 4 KO losses
Won the WBC heavyweight title in 1984, lost on his first defense to Thomas
Won the WBA heavyweight title in 1986, lost on his second defense to Smith

Show the man some damn respect. He already had a W over Smith before the KO in the rematch.

                  Anthony Joshua vs world titlists:
W vs Charles Martin KO 2
W vs Wladimir Klitschko TKO 11
W vs Joseph Parker UD 12
L vs Andy Ruiz TKO 7
W vs Andy Ruiz UD 12
L vs Oleksandr Usyk UD 12

He has a long way to go before his resume stacks up to Terrible Tim's.
