Warren made such a crazy bid because he knows the fight isn't happening and won't have to pay. Fury is going to pull out with an "injury" and then try to fight the Joshua-Usyk winner instead of rescheduling the fight. Clear as day.
Fury is going to pull out of the Whyte fight.

Queensbury are not paying $41m. They almost definitely have a deal with Tyson.
BUT this fight could still have problems going forward. Apparently the abritration is still happening. If Dillian gets, lets say, 30%. Would Queensbury have the $12m+Tyson's purse? More than 30% and we could have a real issue there.
It would also bring into question the legitimacy of the purse bids themselves (as Queensbury could offer more due to the huge split), I don't wanna go there. This could get very messy.
Best case is abritration now rules 80/20 is fair, otherwise this fight probably won't happen.

Besides that, if Fury pulls out the fight, he would need to forfeit the WBC belt, which is unlikely.
Most likely scenarios for this fight not happening are, Dillian Whyte not accepting 20% and abritration creating a shitstorm.
Fury doesn't really have much option but to fight - although if abritration changes the purses this could become a long legal process.Last edited by M312; 01-29-2022, 06:02 AM.Comment
So you're able to predict that Fury would KO Wilder in their 2nd and 3rd fight? You're always right with Fury, you said...
