I don't see why he'd pull out. This way he discharges his mandatory obligations to the WBC and he knows he has the edge over Whyte in basically every way that matters. Its good money for him, Whyte's got name value in the UK so the fight should do good numbers over here, doubly so when you consider that it's basically his homecoming. Only way this fight doesn't happen is if Whyte pulls his face over his cut of the purse and pulls out in a sulk, but even 20% of 40 odd million is a great payday.

I know it's an overblown cliche to accuse someone who made a bad and biased post on here of being some sort of paid shill for a particular company, but with Robbie I really do wonder sometimes. There's no other satisfying explanation for why anyone would be so obsessed with carrying Eddie's water for him on such a consistent basis.

It depends. I think Fury and Warren may have abused the purse bid system to their advantage and made a deal behind the scenes. So Warren could end up paying much less than the purse bid, even though he bid real high.

For example, say Fury and Warren agreed that Fury's purse would be $20M.
Then Dillian would get 20% of the $41M bid which is around $8M.

So Warren would end up paying around $28M not $41M.
