Lose lose situation for Joshua. Either:

    a) he looks bad against Wallin and is in a competitive fight, or

    b) he beats Wallin easily and Fury has more reason to avoid him.

I don’t think Fury wants to fight Joshua. I believe that is a very tough fight for Fury. I think Fury being away from the sport for years stemmed from a crippling anxiety with the Klitschko rematch, because he had nothing to gain from that rematch and was likely going to lose.

I don't blame Salita for passing on the freak show Babic fight but they need to get him something...even if it's just a stay busy fight.
yeah, I think I’m feeling like the Breazelle match was sooner than it probably was. Otto got that high risk no reward label now.

Salita has his promoters hat on in this article, Odd be dam if I step aside and take a tune up with a guy like Wallin, If it’s up to me I either sit it out to my shot or fight someone I can just get a few rounds with just to stay active. Salita must think Joshua stand for fool!

What a war Wallin and Fury waged when they fought each other, if not for Fury's huge fighting heart he would have lost that fight.
I was really anticipating a rematch between these 2 warrior's, but it just never happened what a lost opportunity for a fantastic trilogy.

Its a good fight before Usyk - because he's a southpaw, AJ should seriously consider it (alongside other southpaws)... but what makes him legitimate?

Wallin is young, hungry and has already been in a big fight and didn’t shrink under the pressure. He’s high risk and low reward, he catches a lot of these hw on a bad night for them and we may see some shake up. I like the guy, all heart. Also, he doesn’t do all that ishhh talking.

Wallin not ranked in IBF, I'm not sure he's ranked by any sanctioning body. He was supposed to fight Whyte in October but Whyte backed out. Because of that fight falling thru, he fell from rankings via inactivity.

Hrgovic needs an opponent ranked by IBF so that he can attain mandatory spot (provided he wins).

I really enjoyed that fight as well. Violent and bloody with uncertainty . People say Wallin was only in the fight because of the cut but Wallin was landing on Fury early and a punch clearly busted his eye wide open.

Fury had to make it a slugfest because of style and circumstance. The Gypsy King had to up his game since it could have easily been stopped at any moment (I think in most circumstances, it would have been stopped).

For his part, Wallin showed incredible heart and some pretty decent skills. Otto also showcased a nasty side to his game. I was impressed.

I'd say his performance against Fury in addition to his dominant win over Breazeale provides some legitimacy. May not sound like all that much until you look at the HW contender landscape and it's more impressive than alot of his peers.
