Watched an interview where Romero said he was going to re-activate the mandatory shot after the allegations wear cleared.
Looks like hes keeping his word. I wouldn't count out Romero, the guy can fight and he will give Tank a good run for his money.
Tank being the favorite, he'd probably win but it might not be as easy as you think.

That ranks him above Tank in my book.
Imagine if Lopez fought Kambosos like how he fought Lomachenko - it might've been a different story.
I don't think Kambosos is going to hold onto the titles for long, he's a good fighter but in my opinion there are other top lightweights out there that would make ease work of him.

"Romero (14-0, 12KOs) was forced to drop out amidst a ***ual assault investigation surrounding the Las Vegas native. Romero named by accuser Isabel Zambrano in a filed case last October, days after Davis and Romero traded insults during a press conference held on the outdoor grounds of Staples Center to formally announce the fight.
Romero was since cleared of all charges, as the investigators cited a lack of evidence in closing the case earlier this month."
"Forced to drop out"? The report was that Mayweather Promotions dropped him from the card amidst 2 year old ***ual assault allegations. I don't care for Romero, but I think he got a raw deal there. And now that he has been cleared, he's Tank's mando. He should demand an absolute mint for being dropped from the first time. Too bad he is promoted by Mayweather and thus has little bargaining power.

What a joke of a fight and a mismatch? Davis should have a lot of fun with this one. Romero poses no threat at all.
