This is funny because according to one of the all access pass episodes before their fight, it was said that the may fight was offered to canelo earlier, the reason he didn't take it then, was because he wasn't ready....I doubt the catch weight was an issue, canelo was probably on that beef(unknowingly)

Before the Oscar fight, at what weight did Floyd have his last fight?

I always thought the reason Khan didn't get Floyd is because he couldn't shut up about it Acted like he was entitled to the fight. Knowing Khan's defensive liabilities, Floyd would have knocked him out. The idea that Floyd wouldn't have been able to capitalize on Khan's recklessness is laughable.

I guess it's better to fight the best at catch weights than to go about searching for divisions with the weakest champs, then winning belts & claiming to be the greatest Mexican ever.

The most avoided Welterweight. Mayweather, Pac, Marquez, and Bradley avoided him.

Floyd wanted easy fights. They was avoiding fighters like Khan on purpose.

Floyd would never have gotten credit for beating Khan. It probably would have been his first knockout since Hatton. Khan slows down around the 4th round and Floyd would have punished him with right hands and hooks to the body. While I admit the 1st few rounds would have been fun, Khans boxing IQ doesn’t match his natural skill. Peterson and Garcia got his timing down pretty quick, Floyd would have done the same

Khan won the first round maybe the first two, but by round three canelo started closing in on khan and by the time khan got ktfo, Canelo was clearly outboxing outsmarting the much faster khan… it’s nothing to brag about though, khan is fast but his boxing iq is probably the worst I’ve ever seen

We all know Floyd ducked Khan but it's good to be reminded once in a while. That's just a documented fact. He's not the only one of course, Marquez ducked Khan too. Pacquiao, Bradley and Broner ducked. Floyd was just the most high profile ducker. Very strong case for Khan being be the most ducked fighter in history. International Boxing Hall of Fame got to give credit where it's due at this point or they'll damage their credibility as a respectable institution.

I see so its Mayweather's fault that Khan was knocked out by Canelo

                      makes sense
