You’re kidding right? Not one boxing “expert” would ever under any circumstances ever pick Frank Bruno would beat Foreman. Not one.

Nationalistic pride is a good thing per se but you have to keep your feet on the ground. There’s not one shred of evidence that points to Bruno beating Foreman. All of the evidence points the other way.

You read some of these threads and you realize that you don't belong here. That it smells like urine.

Really? Weight and reach are two attributes of size and neither is absolute. Foreman had enough reach to negate Bruno, who really did not use his reach particularly well. Lyle was a lot tougher than Bruno...

No... Young did not beat Foreman because of "stamina issues..." Watch the fight. If you can watch that fight and tell me that Young won because of stamina issues I will apologize to you... but you have to watch the fight! Young was criminally underated. He arguably could have had his hand raised against Norton, Ali as well as Foreman. He beat Foreman because he threw punches in bunches, moved so well that Foreman had to chase him. The only stamina issues Foreman had that fight was due to getting tired from getting pounded in the face all night chasing after a ghost.

Bruno was excellent, but he was not in Foreman's league.

Young is criminally underated might be the best of the best era... Forget the bad judges and he beat them all... Young is the Charley Burley of the heavyweight division. Never wasted energy, outboxed all the sluggers and outboxed an admittedly older Ali.

Well after I am pushing up daisies I can forsee a time when people actually watch Young on tape and realize that this guy was one of the very best.

This makes sense but I’ll watch the fight again . I said Foreman beats Bruno but not in the 1970s but Foreman was not a great stamina guy himself he never did road work .

Dude... What???! Bruno was not a very physical fighter... he was a rigid orthodox guy with a great jab and some real power... but he had no real chin, no real bottle (is that the proper way to term it lol?), and was easy to take out of the fight... unlike for example Lyle, who did not have the jab, or even the power of Bruno (perhaps/debatable, but perhaps...) but was a much harder fighter to beat.

This isn’t true ,he was deducted points against Mike Tyson for being to physical. Against high quality opponents he would have turned it up like Lewis who he did better against who resembled Foreman style more .

Francis fought like a scared girl vs Tyson.

Just look at his face whenever Mike pinned him against the ropes
