“Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, Ray Leonard and Floyd Mayweather are among the legendary Black fighters Arum has promoted during his 55-year run as a promoter.”. Just because Bob made a ton of money off of a bunch of black fighters doesn’t mean he isn’t racist. He definitely degraded Crawford as his fighter and blamed him for his own failure to adequately promote him.

Him and Bomac were friendly and willing to engage with fans, but Crawford is so chill-almost too much.
          I'd say canelo has a calm approach & he's a star...

Uncle Bob is my favorite ***. I've seen worse and they weren't ***s, I think. Freeway Rick killed thousands of black people, now he's a hero.

True. That's why I find it funny that a lot of the boxingscene internet lawyers are pretending that Crawford doesn't have a case. Crawford has a case based on Arums own negative public comments towards Crawford and racial comments made towards Haymon. That alone gives Crawford a case. He didn't just pull this out of thin air. There is something to it.

The unfortunate situation is the No Black Fighters list that Arum had. The fact that he has kept Valdez as far from Stevenson as possible is unfortunate. His failure to promote Mayweather is unfortunate as well as his statements about Black fighters not selling. His treatment of Crawford and Rigondeaux was atrocious; he was an antipromoter for them.

Why didn't Arum make Pacquiao vs Crawford when they were both at Top Rank? That was a perfect "passing of the torch" fight that could have made Crawford a star.

Why hasn't Arum made Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez? Another fight where if the black fighter wins his name recognition would rise to a new level.
