Nobody cared about Charlo vs Canelo when he was was at MW. Where did this come from? That’s very random. When Canelo was at 154-160, most fans and media called for fights vs Trout, Mayweather, Lara, GGG, Jacobs, and Andrade. He fought 5 of those 6. Nobody ever cared about Canelo vs Charlo. That’s absurd. The only fights fans have been pushing when it comes to Charlo in the last 5 years is vs GGG and Benavidez. Not Canelo. That’s a new one to me.

In fact every discussion about Reynoso’s interest in a Charlo fight is full of fans saying they don’t care for that matchup.

Secondly, nobody cares about Andrade. No fighter. So don’t single out Canelo. No fighter cares to fight Andrade. Not GGG, not Charlo, not Canelo. Nobody aside from his 15 fans cares about him.

You are okay with Smith Jr ducking Canelo, the #1 P4P fighter, Ring/unified champion at 168, former 175 title holder, but wouldn’t be okay if Canelo did it because you hold Canelo to too high regard.

Forget about Charlo, Andrade, Beterbiev, Bivol or Smith, you fans are naming Canelo in matchups with Oleksandr Usyk, the Ring #1 ranked HW, WBO, IBF, WBA champion. That’s the level you all are putting Canelo at. This guy can’t take a fight from 168 to 199lbs without a group of his critics having something negative to say about it. The expectations from his haters, vs expectations they have of every other fighter, is farfetched at this point.

You can't make this stuff up. The team sending offers to fighters, is the one ducking. That's the world we live in today. It may not have been Charlo who personally turned it down, but someone on his team did. Just like DSG didn't turn down Mayweather, his father did.

It's unbelievable to see Charlo get mentioned as someone Canelo ducked. They have offered him a fight already. And Reynoso always name drops Charlo constantly as an opponent he wants for Canelo. They have been for years now. Seeing that poster say Canelo ducked Charlo, is the funniest thing I have read on this forum in 2022. That's the rumor now that he's going to fight Smith instead of Makabu. To me this would be one of the best challenges anyone in boxing has taken, fighting a much bigger guy like Smith who can punch, has a great chin, and shows a ton of heart and spirit in the ring. Smith is a guy who time and time again shows an iron will in there despite taking a beating, so to fight a man like that, especially with a size disadvantage is worthy of praise.

What do Andrade and Charlo have to do with this? Simple. You **** all over those 2 for not unifying and calling out Canelo instead. Now Joe Smith says he wants to unify against 2 dangerous challenges and you talk ****. Make up your mind. Should people call out Canelo or fight the best available opponents? you have any specifics on that offer other than coke head Oscar saying it was a “lucrative deal”? There are facts stated in the ring magazine site that canelo declined a 3 fight deal deal with pbc after leaving golden boy in late 2020 that would have paid him 75 mil guaranteed for plant, charlo and one other opponent to be decided, probably Benavidez. Canelo declined and took 3 fights with dazn for less guaranteed money. Guess you must’ve forgot that.
