Some pretty worrying signs from Ortiz in that fight. We know he has got some serious heart/health issues already.

Think OP was joking when he said that Ortiz could die, but hes definitely got some serious health issues that people need to consider. If he's getting knocked down by some of those shots, he may end up in a bad place v someone more dangerous.

What worries me more is that his team/PBC are not looking after him properly. The first Wilder fight shouldn't have happened, and then they put him in there again anyway, and now he's getting knocked down by jabs... Genuinely worrying signs from him imo

As I said, he should cash out against Ruiz first. Than he can still fight the level likes Kownacki, Helenius, Arreola.

They were crying in the audience in the early rounds... I hate when they show that **** it's so tacky.

            Awful wasn't it.

Nice family Ortiz seems to have, he should be spending time with them not getting his head beat in in his 50s.

Luis got bills to pay, can't be cheap putting all those kids through college.

Agree about showing the crying kids, no need for it,

Per Dan Rafael a long while back, Luiz Ortiz's guarantee from the Wilder rematch alone was around $7 million. He's also made good money in other fights, including probably this PPV. So, not like I know his financial habits and I understand his kid has the medical issue, I doubt he's hurting for $$$... he strikes me as more of a family man than someone who's gonna go out there and blow his money quick LOL.

The wilder fights shouldn't have happened ?

Ortiz was probably older than 42 in the second wilder fight fight he boxed wilders ears clean off him it was then or never

Watching that fight for the first time prior to the knockout the thing going through everybody's mind was actually wilders team shouldn't have rematched ortiz because he was embarrassing him especially being a 50 odd year old man

However I agree oritzs legs have gone against top guys ortizs punches would fall short now with his legs

thr jab that sent him down wasn't so much the jab but more down to his stiff old leg's

His right leg was stiff as he came in, looked like he was going down if the jab landed or not

Ortiz's knee/legs are gone/going, and I felt both knockdowns, well, definitely the second were down to that, and he got straight up both times, and never seemed hurt to me. So whilst he is more likely to go down now, I wouldn't say he's more likely to get hurt than he was, and boy, did he close the show. He still has something in the tank. Him vs Ruiz is a fight I'd like, and if Joshua loses again to Usyk, Ortiz and Joshua have some unfinished business that I'd like to see as well. Nash out.
