Yeah I’ve wanted that matchup for a while now. Before tonight I viewed it as 50/50, now you have to favor Ruiz after Ortiz’s performance tonight. I’d wait to see Ruiz weigh in before ever making a pick on his fights again though.

I’m a Wilder fan but I don’t have much interest in seeing him KO Ortiz a third time

Martin was catatonic after that punch to the temple. It left him both frozen and paralyzed. He didn't know where he was. I thought that the referee let it go on to long because while Martin's gloves were caught in the ropes; Ortiz could have easily continued to punch him as he was left defenseless inside the ropes.

I think Yoka probably gets him. I'm not high on the Frenchman, I think he's athletic and skilled but his durability is the big question mark. Ortiz can catch him and stop him but I could also see Ortiz get caught and swarmed. The old Cuban is shot but dangerous.

Ruiz has fast hands, but slow feet and shorter range. It's not like Ruiz looked unbeatable against Arreola.

Yes it was a very entertaining card. What a way to kick off the 2022 New Year?

Ortiz is by far the most dangerous 50 year old in the heavyweight division.
