Comments Thread For: Frank Sanchez Boxes Past Christian Hammer Over Ten For Decision Win

Frank Sanchez continues his climb up the heavyweight ranks. With stablemate and pound-for-pound king Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez decked out in Dolce & Gabanna pajamas at ringside, Miami's Sanchez preserved his unbeaten record with a ten-round shutout of late replacement Christian Hammer. All three judges scored the contest 100-89 in favor of Sanchez in the Fox Sports Pay-Per-View co-feature Saturday evening from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Mini DJ Khaled back in there reffing again with a questionable count. This fight was a snoozer but Sanchez got some rounds anyway.

It's 4am over here. So far not worth staying up for. Hopefully the main event delivers.

Hammer landed like 25 punches but he lasted 10 rounds on 4 days notice. Good replacement but would have preferred Negron because of his one punch power & glass chin. Negron is always in firefights win or lose someone is getting starched…

Performances like Sanchez's are what got Wladimir Klitschko kicked off HBO when he was heavyweight champ.

          Terrible, terrible performance.

This was by far the worst fight on the card. I nearly fell asleep on it. Sanchez certainly didn't make a statement tonight with that type of performance.

No that fight was boring. Remember that he got some rounds in against Efe Ajagba too which was understandable. However, If Sanchez is truly going to be the future of the Heavyweight division like Canelo Alvarez said he is; Then he is going to have to get guys like Christian Hammer out of there and not carry them for the whole 10 rounds.

They should of never got hammer as an opponent he's durable and generally only quits on his stool from injuries or one sided BEATINGS the only person to stop him "properly" was Wach and the ref didn't even give him a chance but at the time Wach was being built up to be the heir apparent.

Sanchez can't punch it was always going to be a recipe for a boring fight.

Nothing to brag about Sanchez’s fight tonight
Having a late replacement means getting a ko but Frank never seemed to push the gas
Yes he dominated the fight but that should of been a given even if he wasn’t a late replacement
It does say much about Sanchez no matter what Canelo says about him
