But you can do something simple you can watch a fight on TV or showtime and then from somebody's camera inside the arena. Watch Floyd Mayweather vs Maidana 1 filmed from somebody inside the arena here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQNcMf7ITCY

Then watch it on showtime here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYvOC7MBuUw

The speed difference is like day and night
But you haven't actually sat ringside? You're just looking at ****ty videos on people's phone who did sit ringside.

I've sat ringside at many boxing events. I just haven't taken a video to show you. Either way, I won't change your opinion and you won't change mine.

I've been to hockey games and it's way slower in the arena. Same with the NBA and soccer. I haven't been to a football game but probably the same holds true for me as well.

          We'll agree to disagree then.

It depends on the telecast. I’ve seen the same boxers look slow and fast on different telecasts.
            Example:
Ioka fought in the states a few times and the U.S. Telecast he looked slow. I just watched him fight in Japan on the Japanese telecast he looked fast as ****. I honestly think it has to do with the frame rate that telecast is shot in. I know in Japan, they shoot sports telecasts live in 60fps.

Faster in person. Others have mentioned it but you can appreciate the difference in weight and impact of punches. I've seen fights in person from ringside or near ringside and then watched them on television and sometimes it feels like a very different fight.

I saw Beterbiev versus Gvozdyk from near ringside and gained an appreciation for how hard Beterbiev punches. You could hear the muted thud as Gvozdyk's body and head just absorbed all of that energy.
