Comments Thread For: Christian Hammer: I Had A Great Training Camp, Was Ready To Fight Even Without An Opponent

Christian Hammer could have done so many other things during the year-end holiday season in the greater Miami area. Rather than taking in sunshine by day and the vibrant party scene by night, he agreed to a last-minute fight against a fast-rising heavyweight.

Don’t see how he could train and be ready to fight so soon after a torn bicep. Either the injury wasn’t totally legit or this appearance today is strictly for the cash.

This man made Hughie Fury look like George Foreman. He got blasted around the ring by the mighty fists of Hughy Fairy. Hammer's days as a top 50 contender in this, the greatest era in HW boxing history, are numbered. A brilliant main event of Cuban prospect Luis Ortiz vs Charles "walk the Earth like a God" Martin, heads an unmissable PPV. Future Hall of Famer Gerald Washington also features on the card. As Malik "King" Scott once said, "Get your popcorn ready." Nash out.

What else would he be fighting for but cash ? He's a bum. Who never amounted to anything. Of course he's grabbing a payday. And I imagine it's probably for $15,000...max.

Genuinely astonished that this card is PPV. Who the hell’s gonna pay for this?

If I make it past 3am (GMT in the UK) then I’ll be streaming the headline, at least, but the line up’s a sad joke.

Having said that, it doesn’t look as one-sided as some of the Matchroom affairs

Good for Hammer. Grab the paydays. Good for Sanchez. Grab an easy win that should allow you to look exciting.

Sanchez gets a mid round TKO and does not lose a round on the way to it .
