Beterbiev won't take it because of Ramadan (early April to early May)

Canelo won't take it before May because of the Mexican holiday and wants the Makabu fight anyway

The way I see it is this;

Joe Smith has Callum Johnson in January

Bivol should fight Beterbiev before the first week of April

Beterbiev faces Canelo in September

Bivol isn't "dynamic" but he's plenty athletic,the most athletic at 175 in fact. Bivol has more than enough footwork/athleticism/boxing ability to NOT oblige and I suspect that's what both Bob and Reynoso see as well.

I don't think Bivol is elusive enough to play the cat-mouse game with Beterbiev for 12 rounds, but I do think he hits hard enough to potentially turn the tables on Beterbiev. I do agree that Arum pulling the "boring" card means that he believes it will be a difficult match-up that won't translate into big revenue.
