If Bivol v Berb don't flaot no boats what difference does it make who they have promoting them? If those 2 fighters don't generate interest or money they just don't.

Surely you are not saying that fight does not have pizzazz because Bivol is a DAZN fighter?

I'm sure Arum would change his tune on whether Bivol is boring if he actually promoted him.

So we agree he is just a sleazy lying cvnt and there isn't actually any issues to make this fight other than Bob doesn't wana cuz it doesn't suit him and his issue with testing his fighters against DAZN fighters.

What a load of ****. Maybe it's me because some of my favorite boxers to watch are Mayweather, Lara, Rigondeaux, Usyk, Lomachenko and Bivol. What do they all have in common? You know. Bivol control of distance and timing are beyond the stratosphere. Anyone can see that. Arum is up to his stingy ways again, unwilling to pay for the true value of this fight. He's probably seeing Alavrez looming on the horizon.

Beterbiev won't take it because of Ramadan (early April to early May)

Canelo won't take it before May because of the Mexican holiday and wants the Makabu fight anyway

              The way I see it is this;

Joe Smith has Callum Johnson in January

Bivol should fight Beterbiev before the first week of April

              Beterbiev faces Canelo in September

Bivol calls him out in every interview but Beterbiev never speaks his name and now he’s hiding behind Arum

I really like Beterbiev but it’s obviously he doesn’t want the fight
                Watch this post fight interview

Tell me exactly where he says he does not want Bivol?

                https://********/MjsiHoy852s

He explicitly says he wants Smith and Bivol and wants to unify.

Now, go find me an interview where Bivol says he wants Beterbiev?

More lies. You just cannot help yourself.

                Arum promised Beterbiev unification fights.

                Hearn sidelined Bivol.

Also, find me the interviews where Bivol has said he wants Beterbiev? Until recently he had his begging bowl out hoping for a Canelo payday.

Beterbiev's popularity has increased since the Browne fight.

                  The nasty cut

                  The beat down of Browne

The insane power and strength of Beterbiev

                  The lively forum chatter

                  The fantasy matchups involving Beterbiev

The consistent name linking to Canelo

Beterbiev is way more popular than any other 175lbs fighter right now and Top Rank are trying to make a push at promoting him because they want to get that Canelo fight for 2022.

If anyone has been failed it is Bivol by Eddie Hearn and DAZN.

People will pay to see Beterbiev again, expecting another brutal and violent fight while Bivol will just fade out.

No - you just don't make that fight.

If the money isn't there, the fight doesn't get made. That's how it works.

Arum took the risk on Beterbiev-Gvozdyk and lost big. The fight cost $3 million bucks and flopped.

The winning purse bid for Beterbiev-Browne was a flat million bucks. When the numbers come out, they'll probably be as good as or better than Beterbiev-Gvozdyk.

So Beterbiev will keep fighting those kind of fights for now. Cheaper events against American opponents.

Arum eventually wants to match Beterbiev against Joe Smith, but DeGuardia wants to make Smith Jr-Danny Jacobs first. Why? Because in this case a fight against an American challenger is a bigger fight than a unification against a Russian champion.

Not all the imports catch fire like Kovalev or Golovkin. Arum is doing what he can with him.

Just because Beterbiev vs Gvozdyk flopped doesn't mean that Beterbiev vs Bivol will flop. Look at Tank. He did very well in his penultimate fight but the last one flopped terribly. So there's no guarantee that a previous fight influences the next fight.

The reputations of both boxers is increasing. Beterbiev wasn't being promoted correctly, was isolated in Canada for a long time. He recently has been promoted by Top Rank, so he's gaining momentum. I think most people would be excited for that fight. Arum is reluctant to work with Hearn. In fact, he hates Hearn, and I think that's the big reason why he's blocking this fight.
