Dude, what are you not getting? I don't have an issue with PPV's! I have paid and will continue to pay for PPV's that I feel worthy/necessary like Canelo vs Golovkin or say Fury vs Wilder...it's the NUMBER of PPV's being shoved down our throats by PBC,why are you having a hard time understanding that? You don't find having to pay $600 a year in ppvs alone ridiculously excessive?? Like I said,Top Rank,GBP and DAZN/Match have found ways to give us the same quality,if not better, content at a fraction of the cost. Why hast/can't PBCHaymon been able to the same?
You sound like my mom, who is just vehemently opposed to PPV no matter the fight or the price. It's certainly your right to "boycott" PPV, but people have been boycotting PPV for 40 years and it's not going anywhere. Before that there was closed circuit. At least with PPV a bunch of friends can split the show or take turns on who orders. In the closed circuit days, EVERYONE had to buy a ticket.
These guys get punched in the face for a living. They literally risk their life in the ring. You're not going to get big fights without paying in one form or another. PPV is a moral battle in your mind. That's cool. I'd rather have a good time on New Year's.Comment

Sorry buddy. You're options on things to do on New years day may be limited to paying for a fight that has no business on PPV.
But not me.

Part of the problem is that boxing is a niche sport, you're not going to get advertisers paying big money to advertise so most networks won't be providing enough financial backing to support the cards most boxing fans want. Instead you'll get Vito Mielnicki and Joey Spencer in showcase fights on Christmas night. Add in the mix a pandemic that can threaten cards and live gates, and inflation where everything costs more....
PBC has FOX and Showtime, if they don't want to pay for a certain fight then PBC's other option is the PPV (which they have to provide anyway).
I rarely am moved to get PPVs, in the past year I got the Charlo doubleheader and the Fury/Wilder fight. I'll be getting this one, it's less than $40, on a night that I want to watch boxing and has some interesting HW action. I look forward to some KOs.Comment

Fox did two PPVs this year, plus one co-PPV with ESPN. PBC overall did 5 PPVs this year, plus one co-PPV with ESPN. It's really not that many and nobody is saying you have to order all of them. I order the ones that interest me and skip the ones that don't interest me.Dude, what are you not getting? I don't have an issue with PPV's! I think I ordered two PPVs this year and my share was $40.You don't find having to pay $600 a year in ppvs alone ridiculously excessive??

Why would it be limited ? Most posters will be watching the ones who don’t will be picking their noses instead thinking they won something .
