Boxing is tribal....and Canelo's fans are primarily Mexican & Mexican-American. Canelo can lose to the cruiserweight or even one of the light heavyweights and his fans would still ride with him. But if he lost to a fellow Mexican? That slashes the tribe and affects Canelo's earnings. I don't think Canelo fears Benavidez or Ramirez...I think his TEAM fears losing to a Mexican. And they know Benavidez is legit...he could win and he's got an exciting style that could make fans ride with Benavidez if he won. Now...Chavez Jr.? Angulo? Josecito Lopez? Were never threats so those fights were made but they'll keep him away from Benavidez and probably Ramirez too. The duck is becoming obvious because the rationale is so ridiculous.

floyd fans have been folded over into canelo fans in order to make floyd look better. they even abandonded their life long principle of lets clean up boxing because their only principle is floyd is the greatest and nothing else actually matters

He does have a point about Benevidez. But who is there to fight before getting Canelo? there is Plant,BJS,Rosado,Jacobs,Munguia. I wouldnt mind seeing him face one of those guys

Yeah Eddie Reynoso is just scurred because he fears that Canelo would get his ass whupped by David Benavidez! Charlo is too small and Golovkin is tool old. Which is why I called Canelo a piece of shit and i meant it because given all of his talent; He is too afraid of taking on any chances or risks in the ring. Lately he has been taken the path of least resistance by fighting and defeating over matched opponents.
