I doubt Canelo is scared but all the same it does look a bit of a duck. They could end up fighting at 175 anyway and David gets more money.

Canelo fans for the last couple
of years - why should Canelo fight Andrade or Charlo or Benavidez? They haven’t earned it and don’t deserve a shot.

The second point answers the first point. The facts are Canelo IS the the star and he CAN choose who he wants to fight, wether people like it or not.Everyone is chasing him and he can't fight them all. So if someone really wants it, they have to work out what floats Canelos boat and bring that to the table for him. And it ain't cash, because he's the draw, not the other guys. I'm not a Canelo fan. I'd much prefer he fought Benavidez. But he has nothing Canelo wants, that's just obvious.

I don’t see anything that Benavidez brings that Canelo hasn’t seen before. He’s just taller but doesn’t have the power necessary to bother Canelo. He’d be wide open for counters to the body and uppercuts on the inside all night. Canelo folds his ass easily.

Everybody sitting on their a.sses begging for a Canelo payday. Benavidez, Charlo, Andrade..yet none of these clowns will fight each other. Canelo has to fight you and sell the fight and you just show up to collect the payday. Thats why am not mad at Canelo doing as he pleases at this point. All of these clown are adopting the Caleb Plant formula, though Benavidez may be the exception. Fight a lot of bums and preserve the Canelo payday. If you are mad at Canelo, you are just hating at this point. Floyd did the same thing at welterweight and unlike Floyd Canelo at least unified his division and he's moving up to fight at Cruiser whether you like his choice or not.

That's some funny ****, lol. You talk about Plant's strategy, what about Canelo's? He is the one who wanted to fight Plant to unify a weak super middleweight division, yet why didn't he try to unify the middleweight division? Is Andrade that much of a threat to the mighty Saul Alvarez? What about Bivol or Beterbiev at light heavyweight? He instead fought a clearly faded Kovalev. If paying good money to watch him beat no hopers is impressive to you, then good for you. But to suggest that he's an ATG at this point is seriously the funniest thing I have ever heard.
