I don't think Iceta was dis*****g that, I think he meant that he thinks Mosley would have been a tougher challenge for Pac. Iceta is a Mosley fan.

Okay if Iceta was referring to the toughest challenge available, instead of Cotto not being the toughest challeneged he has face, then I would have to agree with that. Not because I beleive Mosley is better than Cotto because Cotto already beat him, but because styles make fights. Mosley will be taller (5'9" > 5'6-1/2") while having 7" more in reach. So the size disadvantage will be even bigger for Pacman than against Cotto. Not to mention that the advantage for Pacman in Speed, boxing skills and even in the corner will be a lot less if not even in some cases.

First of all I would like to say I am a Cotto fan. I am not no Cotto hater. And, I can't see how anybody can hate on Cotto. He is a true warrior and he is willing to face anybody. However, I don't know if Margarito cheated against Cotto. There has not been no facts no proof. We all are just assuming that he did. But there is no real hardcore evidence that he did. Everything that has bees said in the matter are opinions. I will take it as a legit win until proof does come in.

i see where your coming from mate but lets be honest we will never find the truth because margo will never come out and say he cheated but the reason i say he did is because if you look at the fight, cotto never really took any serious punches in the fight and his face was destroyed,he took more punishment in the mosley,juda and torres fight and his face was ok.if you remember back to the fight the 1st 6 rounds cotto hardly got hit and boxed the best ive seen him then all of a sudden margos plaster hardened and cotto felt every punch and got mashed up.im a fan of both fighters but margo didnt win that fight fairly.believe what you want but look back to the fights and then make up your mind

Cotto has never said that Margo had Plaster of Paris when he beat him. He has always stated that he likes to think that Margo beat him fair that night, although all the speculation around that fight. So for one, I dought very much that Manny and Freddy would do such a thing and second, if Cotto looses to Manny I dought he would make up any excuses, its not his style.

im gonna try & respond to that if u can reason with me; try & go back in boxing history & name me one fighter who looked as bloodgeuned & busted up due to boxing gloves like cotto was against margo, not by a head butt cut, straight up glove punishment. i cant honestly think of one, even vito antofermo didnt looked that bad when he faced marvin hagler many years ago. where i can look is the MMA wher their gloves barely have cushion & is almost as getting hit with bare knuckle. in my 30 years of watching boxing i had never thought that that type of damage could be done in a boxing ring due to glove punishment alone. he looked like he has just got beat up with a bat if i didnt know any better. & what happened in his next fight? where was that same damage once his cast wraps were confiscated? u dont need that much common sense 2 realize that a fighter uses them wraps against a 37 year old underdog who supposedly was on his way out, but doesnt use them against his most dangerous opponent ever where he was an underdog? Cmon now, even a ten year old child can rationalize this; if he tryed to cheat when he was a huge favorite, trust me, he did the same when he was an underdog in the biggest fight of his life. only ignorant fans in denial or haters would think other wise. i personally have alot of mexican friends since i live now in texas & everyone except for maybe one thinks that he did cheat & they even feel that he shamed them & their great mexican tradition; but most importantly is that they feel because of his cheating they feel cotto will never be the same. they say to me imaging if the great julio cesar chavez career would have been cut short because someone didnt want to play by the rules..& u say wheres the proof? buddy, he got caught red handed with the plaster on his hands, not his bag, not getting ready to put them on, on his fist...if a person tells u hes tried crack, trust me hes a crack head & his done it more than once; its common sense: but dont worry, cause that fight will happen one day again so we can finally lay it 2 rest once & for all.

I disagree I think Cotto took some serious shots early on. Not a lot, but some. The Torres fight was more of Cotto struggling to make weight is why that fight was difficult. I think Marg is a more heavyhanded and stronger fighter than Judah. And, the thing with Mosley is that Mosley did not try to walk Cotto down early on. Until late in the fight but wheen he started walking him down it looked a lot like Cotto-Margarito.

Now you said "all of a sudden margos plaster hardened" See the thing is when they found his wraps against Mosley. They found traces of sulfur and phosphate and thats all the found traces of sulfur and traces of phosphate and that does not make plaster. It dosen't. You can find sulfur and phophate in onions. You still need a lot more ingredients to make plaster like calcium, which they didn't find, and so on. So I will think is a legit win until proven otherwise. Just my opinion.
