Attempt at being humorous - FAILED.

Get the point?? He says it before every fight!!!
The fact is that it doesn't matter what Cotto, Pacman or any other, predicts that just give us reason for analysis, comments and discussion. We will really know come Nov. 14th.

Well I guess we will have from 1.5 mil to 2.0 mil ppv sells -1.
I don't think your PPV will be missed

If pacman loses I just hope he will not label Cotto as being to heavy!!

We got your point the 1st time. Probably Arum is thinking that with these 2 boxers (Cotto-Pacman) he won't need an great undercard and still sell over 1.5 mil ppv. The more quality fighters on the under card the more money Arum has to spread.
BY the way with a better under card or not JMM-PBF wont sell more than Pacman-Cotto
That's the kind of attitude from promoters that I can't stand. The Cotto-Pacquiao fight will be a good fight likely from an entertainment point of view. But what if there is a slight chance that it turns out to be a dud? That scar tissue that Cotto got from the Clottey fight isn't going to heal overnight. Cotto's corner is in disarray despite Pacquaio's own supposed distractions and he isn't the toughest challenge for Pacquiao in a lot of people's (including me) opinion.

        Proud Puerto Rican

        Great Day in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico just won a gold and silver medal in world amateur boixng, something that has not happend since Wilfredo Gomez did it 35 years ago.

Puerto Rico was host to a press conference of one of the most hyped and anticipated fight of the decade, and the press conference organized by Cotto Promotions lived up to the hype of the fight. The presentation was excellent and the Perfroming Art Center in Caguas was jam packed with more than 1,500 fans.

Puerto Rico will also host today, world championship boxing when Calderon and Mayol face each other.

But with all do respect to all in this forum I would like to congratulate and emphasize on how proud I am of my people of Puerto Rico for their class shown during the press conference.

Both Pacquaio and Freddie Roach were treated with respect, admiration and even aplauded by the Puerto Ricans. There is no doubt that these gentlemen deserve this treatment everywere they go but sometimes the worst part of fans take over and that's were we fail.

By any means i'm saying that this has not happen in any other country, on the contrary I wish it happens all around the globe. Neither am I trying to say that the Puerto Ricans are perfect because were are not. We have most of the same problems that other countries have.

But today the Puerto Rican people, MY PEOPLE, with the respect, admiration and applause provide to Pacquiao and Roach, sent a very clear message and example to the rest of the world.

WE CAN DISAGREE, WE CAN BE ROOTING FOR THE OPPONENT, WE CAN HAVE DIFFERENCE OF OPINIONS BUT WE CAN DO ALL THESE THING WITHOUT LOSING RESPECT TO OTHERS

And guess what, that applies perfectly to this wonderful website of boxing forum.

I agree with you on our points and very good ones I must add. The Pacman-Cotto is a potential fight that could probably end early for lots of reason, including a possible cut just like you pointed out therefore lots of people can be dissapointed if the good fight on the card doesn't fill the expectations.
I aslo agree on the corners comparrison Pacquiao's corner is a huge advantage over Cotto's corner although I beleive that Pacman wont be affected by any distractions because he is a trainig freak and once he starst training he is alwas completel focus.
I do disagree about the toughest challenge opinion. I do beleive that Cotto is the most dangerous and toughest challenge for Pacman in his whole career. Not saying that he doesn't have a chance although I will be rooting for Cotto, but I Truley beleive that Cotto will win this fight. But just like you, this is just my opinion, we will only know on Nov. 14th

But it is still better than the three undercard fights to the Pacquiao-Cotto PPV.
John-Juarez should be a very good fight, I'd pay to see that. And you're almost the only boxing fan I know who doesn't think Cotto-Pac has the potential to be a great fight ("great" in the true meaning of the word, i.e. one that will be remembered in 50 years time).

Also, if you wanted to see the fight but didn't want to risk $50, there will be lots of bars screening the broadcast.

I don't think Iceta was dis*****g that, I think he meant that he thinks Mosley would have been a tougher challenge for Pac. Iceta is a Mosley fan.

First of all I would like to say I am a Cotto fan. I am not no Cotto hater. And, I can't see how anybody can hate on Cotto. He is a true warrior and he is willing to face anybody. However, I don't know if Margarito cheated against Cotto. There has not been no facts no proof. We all are just assuming that he did. But there is no real hardcore evidence that he did. Everything that has bees said in the matter are opinions. I will take it as a legit win until proof does come in.
