Surely Ortiz has to be the favourite but how wide will the odds be? I for one am curious.

Martin kind of sucks but at least he can punch.

How many southpaws has Ortiz faced in his pro career? Any? Surely he's seen some in one of his 80000 amateur fights though.

I can't find any odds yet on this fight. At a guess I would say 300 on Ortiz would gather a 100 win. And 100 on Martin would win 300. But that is pure guesswork. Ortiz is ancient, and inactive, and not a naturally fit guy like Wlad, who was absolute prime aged 41 vs Joshua. Ortiz is 42, not an athlete, even though, a year or so ago, he was still prime, either now, or within the next 1-2 years, he will be finished, so Martin is a good outshout, but I'm going for Ortiz on points. Nash out.

Martin is trash, Ortiz was given a soft touch. Shouldve been on a sunday afternoon on fox.

Even money because you gotta assume Ortiz has slipped. Weird maybe but my opinion of Martin went down a lot after Kownacki got destroyed twice by Helenius.

I mean... Not a horrid match. Ortiz needs to prove he is still worthy of being mentioned with the top 10. He needs a solid win. But at least this is a fight you can sell as legit.

It sure is not PPV. But legit. Be a fantastic Showtime main event or Fox event. Not PPV.

But legit. Ortiz by mid to late round TKO.

I'm looking forward to this, it should be a nice action fight.

The smart money is on Ortiz taking Prince Charles to school, but at some point Ortiz's age has to catch up with him.

I feel Martin wins this. Ortiz is clearly better fighter, but old one.

Martin is a decent fighter but largely unproven. I have only seen him against Joshua, Kownacki, Glazkov, Washington, Dawejko & a few trialhorses. He looked good against Washington & came on against Kownacki in the second half but ran out of rounds. This is a huge fight for both. If Ortiz loses it is the end. Martin can still get fights but a loss would probably end his aspirations of winning a second world title. Still an intriguing fight. Tough fight to pick but I would have chosen Ortiz a few years ago but at 42 it is hard for me to look past his age & lack of quality opposition in recent years. Martin is better than many here think & should be the fresher fighter. I think Martin could pull this out. I have it 50/50 at this stage of their careers…
