Again Whyte vs Fury isn’t happening until late March / April anyway so what is Fury waiting for ? Hes not fighting anyway ,he’s just avoiding this fight if he says he doesn’t want to wait for a ruling .

Fury wants to stay active and get a fight in BEFORE march. That's why he's talking about doing a non-title fight.

Here's the deal. 20 percent is too low and 45 percent is too high. They should make it a bit more reasonable like 65/35 or 70/30 in favor of the WBC champion Tyson Fury. Knowing Eddie Hearn he probably has a few tricks up his sleeves. I bet he allows this fight to go to purse bid before entering into any type of arbitration with the WBC.

It’s an excessive amount if you ask me, but that’s what interim champions are entitled to under WBC’s rules, which is what Whyte is somehow.

Whyte was cleaned out just two fights ago by a veteran who is now retired and as a mandatory wants 45% against the undefeated WBC , linear and ring champion ......what a clown .The same clown who turned down around £4 million for a shot at Joshua's titles, albeit with Hearns ridiculous clauses.

You're right. For Dillian to demand 45 percent of the purse split is just plain ludicrous .He is not worth that amount as opposed to Tyson Fury.

But I also don't see either of them showing any willingness to negotiate and make the fight. Every indication has been that Fury will ignore the mandatory for as long as possible and Whyte will happily head to court.

And in the meantime the division will continue to be held up and Fury will be fighting stiffs instead of mandatories.

I feel like I've said this before - this one off circumstance is understandable. But there's a pattern with Fury that you can't ignore.

He's had 7 fights in the 6 years since he became a champion. 4 against nobodies and 3 with the same guy.

He's been obligated to feature in 3 fights in that time and this will be the third time things have been dragged out. One didn't happen due to drugs, drink, PEDs and 'depression', the next took a court case, and now here we are again and the split isn't right and we're off to arbitration again.

We must be getting to the point where even his most ardent defenders question whether he is the main factor?

Mandatories are the one sporting element of this business.

Fury and Whyte are both petitioning the WBC. Whyte wants their rules applied, Fury wants consideration of recent earnings applied.

Both are pretty reasonable requests and the answer is probably somewhere in the middle. So how the fk do the WBC come to conclusion that 20% is the right mark?
