Comments Thread For: Hearn: Derek Chisora Is Not Human; How Parker Fight Went 12 Rounds, I'll Never Know

Eddie Hearn has seen many of Derek Chisora's grittiest performances from a front-row seat. Even Hearn marveled, however, at the veteran heavyweight's remarkable resilience Saturday night. Like virtually everyone else who watched Chisora's immediate rematch with Joseph Parker

Chisora has got a huge heart. Only if gets knocked out for the full ten count or ref stops it does he stop trying in a fight.

He's a poor man's Joe Frazier, but not an insult. Parker doesn't seem to be a good finisher, but he did what he had to do. Parker's conditioning is excellent, gotta say that.

I think it was evident that Andy Lee has already had an impact on Parker's fighting style. Compare this to the fight against Junior Fa and you see better punch selection and less of the sloppy technique. I don't think you will ever change his temperament completely but i definitely see overall improvement. It's unfortunate he didn't ditch his Barry earlier.

I can clear that mystery up: because Parker’s completely unfit, NOT a killer, and a general waste of space in boxing.

The whole fight, I was saying to my missus that any serious boxer would have blown Chisora out within 3, as his game plan and defence were absolutely woeful.

The fact that Parker couldn’t KO him is partly down to the fact that Chisora’s hard as f***, but also the fact that Parker’s tank empties after 7-8 punches.

He is going nowhere, and the fact that he’s still considered one of the world’s best boxers by at least one organisation after back-to-back losses and substandard performances is perhaps a fitting microcosm of the shadiness in boxing. HW, in particular, is full of title contenders who remain so because of well connected promoters.

Parker is a heavyweight Lomachenko, he lacks a real power for that weight. And Chisora has a lion heart.

Parker is a POS of a boxer who can't finish a dead man - that's how! Hope he gets GTFKOed soon.

Yeah Parker looked good. I was impressed but i think Michael Hunter is technically better than Parker with less power than Parker even

So excellent that he was tired after a ring walk, was exhausted after Rnd2 and had emptier than Chisora's tank after FLUSH HITS of his own, not even by missing punches! Parker is trash.

Parker has a great chin though. I don't believe Hunter has that sort of chin.

He did take some fire from Povetkin though, so maybe he'll prove me wrong.
