For example if he fought Dulorme like Boots did, than he would be a real badass?

Calling washed out names makes him appear to be a money grab fighter. With his name people will like him and other will doubt him. Only fighting and winning fights will make his case.

I personally don't mind Conor Benn.

But it is probably his attitude, some people deep down do not like it 'Because maybe it does not sync with his perceived up bringing'.

Sometimes he does appear to going over the top, acting like a tough guy. But well he is a fighter, so he has to be tough 'And he does fight in such a manner'.

There is another fighter called Anthony Fowler who also, people dislike 'And it is mainly due to his attitude'. People will make excuses up, why they dislike Fowler & Benn, but really it is because they do not like their attitudes 'People will not just come out and say it'.

Benn is very overtly sure of himself, I just don't think people like that. It is why some people without good reason disliked David Haye 'The last fighter I really supported'.

Although Tyson Fury is the same way, he has been vulnerabilities in his character, which some people endear to. Maybe all fighters have vulnerabilities, some just chose to cloak such areas of their make up.

We live in a society now that seems, at-least on the outside to gush over 'People being humble' and overly matey matey. I watched a post fight video with Chisora & Parker last night, and in all the comments people where gushing 'I could not careless'.

Conor Benn is alright, I don't think he is super talented. But he seems game, and his style is engaging.

So maybe people dislike him due to his attitude, and that he has been promoted in such a way which enables him to avoid big domestic fights if he wants to 'Yes I think this is another reason'.

Eddie Hearn has marketed and promoted Benn, in such a way where he is on his own path. Boxing fans can see this, and dislike it. But Eddie Hearn is only really doing what a good promoter should be doing with Conor Benn 'Benn is Hearn's second favorite fighter, just behind Anthony Joshua'.

I am going to wait until Khan vs Brook fight plays out, because I am not so sure Benn beats Amir Khan 'Not as easily as Eddie Hearn suggest' If Khan can just drill himself into condition, for as long as that fight lasted 'I think Benn would be under heavy bombardment'.

Because he’s a private school lad with a fake transplant beard pretending to be a ****ney villain. It’s cringe inducing.

Don't nearly all boxers do this?

The time will come when Benn will take a big step up, but can't blame him for taking money fights while his stock is high? He's certainly not ready for world level yet.
