lol @ makadoodoo. You might be right. I don't know what Canelo's plans are. I did hear he is thinking about fighting Beterbiev last week, but I don't now. Maybe he takes a small "keep busy" fight in the meantime? I think he still wants to fight at least four times a year.

Artur will be 37 in a month. If Canelo can get to him with the year it might not be the number that keeps coming up like if he was 38. Artur pushes all day which is his strength. Getting tagged clean early a few times by Canelo may slow him down, but maybe not. Artur only moves his head in and out, but he is good at it. It’s not the level of Canelo’s head movement. In fact nothing he does is as refined as Canelo, but that’s to be expected. If Artur wants to win, I expect he will have to absorb more from Canelo and hope Canelo can withstand less than he can. It’s a matter of if twelve rounds is a longer time to vs Beterbiev or Canelo?

Nope. Makabu fights the #4 ranked CW in boxrec on the 4th week of January. Plenty of time to fight in May.
