When Canelo beats Beterbiev, will Artur then be "too old"?

Beterbiev is free to fight in May. Canelo is fighting Makabu. He should scrap that trash fight and fight the Unified Light Heavyweight champion.

I really doubt he will fight him though, he knows that Beterbiev is many levels above all his recent opponents. If he split decisions Bivol and takes a ton of punishment in that fight then maybe canelo will fight him 3 weeks after that fight ends with a rehydration clause.

If he fights him this year and with no rehydration clause and at the real weight so no catch weight , i will give Canelo full credit if he wins , but no trickery.

Makabu fight is off because he has to fight a mandatory or something like that. Canelo has to look for another opponent.
