dressed down production, small/medium sized venues. Some of these dudes need to already be in the ring when TV comes back from commercial, they don't all get a televised ring walk or packaged promo...30 secs at most and maybe a few words prefight and afterward. I'll find out who they are in the ring

Sean O'Grady from TNF, one of my favorite commentators, I learned a lot from him as a real young fan

I liked the brief stint Ring City had this last year, there were some good fights I thought.

Brandon Adams KO of unbeaten Bohachuk
    Baez brothers
    Charles Conwell
Angel Fierro TKO of Alberto Machado
they had some Puerto Rican prospect who got a KO
    Tanajara
I loved the regional matchups that ESPN used to air. You'd get alot of Canadian and New England rivalries throughout the years. Occasionally there would be an all-Philly fight at the Blue Horizon. Pittsburgh's Spadafora had a great fight against Cleveland's Mike Griffith in a battle of nearby cities. The venues would be packed out with fans for each fighter which would always make the broadcast that much better.

Ring City recaptured some of that "gritty" local vibe as you put it. The Fierro/Machado fight was awesome, especially with the Caribbean feel. I hope they continue that series and expand it.

Boxing Fans SUCK so they cancel all these shows because NOBODY watch them and Ratings do Poorly!

Ring City on NBC Sports was AWESOME, the Setup was nice with them doing fights at Freddie Roach WildCard Gym...

        Ring-City-USA2.png

nobody was watching it, you guys wasn't posting about it, the Live Fight Thread would be dry with not too many people in it talking about the fight so yeah these Networks have ZERO interest in Invest more into Boxing because Boxing Fans F^CKING SUCK but overall it is just not many real true Hardcore Boxing Fans at least not enough to draw ratings to show Networks that people are interested

Especially TNF, having boxing in the middle of the week was great. Lots of up & coming fighters, I remember seeing a young Roy Jones Jr, Raul Marquez before they were champs, veterans like Hector Camacho, Rocky Lockridge made some paydays, and unique characters like Butterbean, Jimmy Thunder, Rocky Gannon. Even the champ Sean O'Grady and Al Albert were great, miss that one a lot.

Although they did attempt a brief lived thursday or Tuesday series didn't they?
I was at Turning Stone when Teddy made HOF. The dude literally hugged everyone on his way to the ring. It was pretty endearing but at the same time it was like, 'c'mon Teddy, lets get going don't stall the whole ceremony'

We still have plenty of fights on Fridays but I would love if ESPN/DAZN etc would do cards on a Wednesday or Tuesday more often . Especially now with so many cards to choose from during the weekends .

ESPN + For example got a card this Saturday that nobody going to watch with Denys Berinchyk vs Isa amongst others . At same time there will be DAZN card with matchroom that everyone will be tuning into instead. This would've been perfect for Tuesday-Wednesday .

DAZN should start a series on Wednesdays for woman , call it ladies night or w.e lol . Just pure woman's fights would be low budget but I'm sure many subscribers would enjoy into they could get til to keep em satisfied til Weekend.
