Most fans overrate his inside fighting game and defense. Overall, he’s a cold-blooded killer in the ring. He’s the best finisher at the welterweight division.

Crawford’s skills are all that and more. He is the special fighter that comes along once every 15 years or so. Crawford is anything but overrated.

Also, Crawford moved on from Arum. Not the other way around.
Even at his best Porter was just above a gatekeeper at welterweight. And yes in his mid 30’s coming off a long layoff he was well past his best. But I guess Bud fans have to hype up a guy like him because the rest of his resume is a joke.
And make no mistake, Arum had no interest in being in the Crawford business. He’s been saying he’s been losing money on Bud for years and his supposed biggest fight of his career was another bomb. He has paying Bud and his B and C level opponents low purses but now Bud thinks he is some PPV draw when the numbers say otherwise. Arum passed on Bud first no doubt. Hearn and DAZN have no interest. Haymon might but if Spence is out of 147 how much value does Bud have to him? Not much.

I think prime GGG and Terence are pretty similar. Both are once in a decade type of fighters but they didn't step up their competition until late into their careers.

Yeah cool story. Making up stories about fighters and promoters is just another outlet for you to suck off Canelo. That's the only thing you do on this site and you're a one trick pony.

Not making anything up. There was a thread here just last week with Arum quoted as saying he lost money on Bud because he’s not a PPV draw but wants to be paid like one.
He said the same thing when the Khan PPV numbers came out and were horrible.
He had no interest in making the Porter fight because it wasn’t in house but the purse bid forced him to make a deal with Haymon. A non PPV draw like Porter had to be forced on him.
Make no mistake, Arum is happy to be out of the Crawford business. Have a feeling Bud is going to be disappointed when promoters aren’t lining up to lose money on him as well.

He did get outboxed for about 8 rounds by Porter out of all people
Kell Brook did a number on him early in the fight.

So is he the most overrated boxers skills-wise cause it seems to me he gets bailed out by his strength and power.
                    No, he doesn't. Next question.

I think that was the fight that convinced me Spence had the stylistic advantage. I was wrong in that, partly because Crawford himself worked in his shortcomings, but damn, Benavidez would win if he had both legs
