Commey recovered fairly quickly like he usually does. He's just a TOUGH TOUGH man that you better take out when you have the chance to do so or else he will end up surviving the entire 12 rounds.
This is exactly right and I don't see what's so wrong with that that people gotta make up some "Loma's heart was too full of love" narrative. Loma showed his class.

I definitely don't think he wanted to see Commey badly hurt after the first knockdown but no, Loma never really presses for the knockout, he just just trying to box carefully and pick his shots like he does in all fights, the next round was close, but after that Loma was outlanding him again like mad.

Nice diversion. The amount of fentanyl in Floyd's system speaks for itself. Do you know how much he had in his system at TOD, and how much is considered deadly? Please, go on.

So lol it's not racist to point out that he was clearly culpable, GREATLY, in his own death. And again your comment on May-McGregor is irrelevant. The analogy between the two situations is obvious. I already pointed out the exact analogy for you.

You and many others struggle with race so much, and view everything purely on racial lines, that you are incapable of looking at things as they are and just calling it like it is.

You used to seem to try to be a decent guy. Maybe something happened in your personal life. Now it's all about hating whitey.

Loma backed off after Commey went down from a perfect left hand to the jaw. Commey got up but his legs were wobbly. If Loma presses the action at that point, instead of hesitating and looking to Commey's corner and giving Commey more time to recover, maybe he stops him, maybe not.
It most def wasn't a Loma tutorial on how to finish a fighter who is in serious trouble.

The man has already to this point, had a very special career in the history of boxing, when you put all that he has accomplished together. Anyone hating on him too much is dumb as fu,ck, or more likely, has a clear agenda.
This is very true. There’s a lot of anti-Loma sentiment on this forum and it’s completely unjustified. The guys had 18 fights, 14 have been world titles fights, he’s won titles at 3 weight classes, fought 11 world champions and aside from his very first pro fight, almost everyone he’s ever fought has been ranked AT LEAST top 10. Hating on a guy like that is f***ing pathetic IMO.

Right, it's insane. And couple that with the 2 gold medals as an amateur - whatever one thinks about ams, he was still a very special fighter there. 1 loss in like 400 fights or whatever.

I feel like there are a lot of other guys that are easier to hate on....Loma wouldn't be the guy that I single out.

Ironic that this was the one comment there that you latched onto. Looks like I hit the nail on the head with you. No surprise.
