...because Ennis hasn't been allowed to gain any significant momentum on PBC island. I think Ennis is really good, but Benn is being built into a potential star by Matchroom. Shoulder Roll created a thread when he asked about the stars that PBC have built...that weren't poached from GBP. PBC arguably has a star-making problem.Comment

First of all Ennis isn't signed to PBC he just fights on their events on Showtime. Second - those fighters weren't poached or stolen. It just so happens that the guy who owns GBP was an alcoholic coke head who was too busy letting hookers stick kitchen utensils up his buttbutt instead of tending to his business. Those fighters were legally acquired by Haymon. Third - GBP was never going to turn any of their black fighters into stars. They promote Mexicans only. Fourth - And lets put this to rest now. Between Matchroom, GBP and TR...who has an American star? Canelo and Bud are free agents and AJ fights in the UK. TR's two most known fighters are Loma and Shakur...great fighters but no stars. GBP only semi-star is Rihanna Garcia but she is currently in negotiations with Instagram to be an **** bead model. Matchroom/DAZN only has two known American fighters in Andrade and Haney and their American profile is being destroyed on that app because absolutely nobody is watching that shyte. PBC has 3 fighters in Wilder, Spence and Tank that fight on PPV, two of them have consistently successful events. DAZN TR and GBP have no one that could even think about doing PPV. So someone please enlighten me as to where all of these 'stars' are please. Sorry to knock your ass off of your fantasy cloud 9 and drag you back down here to dataland, but somebody had to.Comment

Depends on your definition of a star. There's being a star, achieving greatness and creating legacy in the sport. And there's being a star, being an attraction by taking easy to make, comfortable fights, and its when, not if the KO comes. I like to see success in achievement. I don't care much for bank balances. It's legacy chasers vs Dollar chasers and the dollar guys won't fight the legacy guys. If your a true boxing fan that wants the big fights, that's not what you want to hear. But too many fans just accept so called stars fighting safe fights, and say "well that's the modern way". Only because people are daft enough to pay for it.Comment
