  • Well Ennis fanbois think its beating Samuel Amoako, Gustavo Garibay, George Sosa with combined losses of 36 and 2 draws .. that's what Ennis did at the same point in his career.

So if your questioning Benns bravery you're calling Ennis a ***** .. your choice

If you keep this fanbois cr*p up you'll have everyone hating on Ennis, honestly I think Ennis is a decent fighter but his early record isn't good and to ask Benn to step up when he's doing way more than what Ennis was doing at the same point is laughable.

you should be on Ennis's back he should be challenging for a title not going after novices.

impressive…..beating Aligieri and Broner or beating Ennis now….

    • Jaron Ennis, as so many of his fans point out is a level or 2 above Benn. So why do his fans keep mentioning him and Benn together? If Benn doesn't mention Ennis, why does that bother them. Surely they should be looking upwards for him. Ennis himself seems to be. Benn keeps getting slated for not mentioning Ennis, but Ennis isn't mentioning Benn either. Only some of his fans. I say some as there are those that see the way forward for Ennis and appreciate it. However there are those that only seem content on looking over their shoulder to see if Benn is coming. Why is that? Are they worried? Or perhaps they just want to see him fail as they're not a fan of his promoter. Bit of both I suspect. I see the quality in Ennis for sure. Although his wins over lipinets and Dulorme, for me, are not any better than Benns win tonight. Ennis is ahead of Benn for now. But people forget that Benn has had next to no amateur experience and is learning on the job in the pro ranks, compared to a solid amateur grounding for Ennis. Also that Ennis has had 8 pro fights more. Given Benns recent improvements and learning curve trajectory, where might he be in 4 fights, let alone 8? Maybe that's what's got some of those fans worried. I'm not predicting that Benn will be better than Ennis. But time will tell, and it will be fun finding out. But their on their own paths and Benns fans seem to accept that. For those SOME fans of Ennis that can't, good luck with getting Benn out of your heads, whose living there rent free at the moment.

Jaron Ennis isnt signed to PBC. He has been fighting on Showtime on PBC cards, but his contract is with Showtime. He doesn't have one with PBC, which is why they won't push him, and he won't get in with they're top fighters. He'll have to become mandatory to get a shot unless he does sign with PBC. So basically he's in the same boat as Benn, as he won't get a shot either unless he's a mandatory. PBC don't work with Matchroom, unless ordered.

And yet he hasn't. That's only the second time. The first being Spence.

            • Why is PEnnis even being talked about in this thread?? Let Benn get his shine.

Also sounds like Andrade too: same side of the street with Canelo/GGG/Munguia, yet he continues to face mandatories. There are many fighters whose careers are stagnant and can't seem to break through to the next level. Some refuse to admit it.

                • Benn looked better than I expected. He's improved even though the matchmaking is very careful. Would still be surprised to see him reach the top but credit where it's due, especially on the nice finish.

                  • Brutal KO. He done well not to land that follow up shot, his dad would of !

He looked better than I expected. Wasn't as gung-ho as he can be, picked his shots better, went to the body well.
They should target the Brook/Khan winner if they can, they could turn that into a 'big TV' fight for him. Broner is a good idea too since they're trying to build his name. Getting Broner in the ring is probably hard work these days though.

Yeah Andrades career is struggling for sure.
