    • Impressive win for the Destroyer. After every fight you always hear people talking about how he has improved. Who knows what his ceiling is.

Don't know the answer to that.... I'd welcome that fight but...... I'm sure Eddie ain't or Benn Sr.

The matchmaking should be careful though. He had little amateur experience. And look where he was in 11 fights. Look where he is now. He's come on in leaps and bounds. He may not reach the top but he's learning all the time, and the careful matchmaking is enhancing this.

No one has on either side. Yet Benn takes all the stick for not mentioning Ennis, but Ennis doesn't mention Benn either. They shouldn't be either. They're on different paths and levels for now. Benn isn't in the world top 10 yet. When he gets there by building up as he's doing at the moment, then they can look at each other. But realistically these two don't want each other as their looking towards getting into position for a title shot.

Really helps bring down the record of Pacquiao and Spence, that comment.

So, Benn goes the route with Broner, Brook or Khan? These are the fighters he just mentioned, today... You call this stepping up the competition?

Fair enough, but the others guys he faced were less skilled with big power and more skilled with less power. Just think style wise it will happen, when he can't use his skill to compensate for his lack of power.

I didn't call that stepping up the competition. I believe you just said that it was he who mentioned those names. Not I. I'm not a massive fan of a Broner fight. Broner is shot. It's just a marketing and profiling move. Especially if it's in America. And if Benn can knock him out, that would definitely add to that, and that's the angle I believe they're going for. Khan is still a good Boxer. But his chin is not there and with the power Benn showed tonight, that doesn't look a great fight. But Khan still has fast hands, and even if Benn got the 6 rounds that Crawford got, then he'd learn from that as he's not really been in with anyone with fast hands yet. Brook ( who I think will beat Khan ), is still a good opponent. He's only been beaten by top class opponents. And against Crawford he was very much in that fight until he got stopped. And with a good win against Khan he'd be rejuvenated somewhat, at least at that level. So Brook would be a genuine test. I like the Avanesyan fight personally. I think Benn beats him now. I feel Avanesyan is overrated. But it would be tough.
