Fury did what he had to do to beat a 10 year old champ in his own country end of story, did i say he beat the **** out of him/put on a masterclass? No I didn’t i simply said he did enough to win and the achievement is better than anything AJ has done so far unless he beats Usyk.

Wilder 3x
Prime Wlad
Chisora 2x
Wallin
Cunningham - when he was just stepping up from domestic level
That's 8 very good wins, or 7 wins and 1 draw with the Wilder robbery. Nash out.
I also would like Fury to fight more often to really state his case. If according to this forum, Wilder was and is a bum, that's 3 fights against a "bum" and then making his best win, Wlad that was I forget how many years ago. At this point I'm seeing that AJ probably does have the better overall resume. Would AJ win against Fury? Proooobably not? Though, I want to see it to prove that. I will not just accept Fury beats everyone, so let's not actually make him face anyone.

Why call him the best while he has feasted on tomato cans and bums while only really having Wilder and an older Klitschko on his record? Where is the proof that he is the best? All or most of AJ's opponents in the past 5 years have been top 10 or top 20 opponents. Meanwhile Fury has fought 3 guys who do not even box any more. And he wanted to fight another tune up now but the WBC finally forced him to act like a champion and fight a damn mandatory.Last edited by Kzbox; 12-10-2021, 12:26 PM.

Lennox was 1-1 vs Rahman. I wonder how he would have done in 3 fights vs Wilder
The fact you honed in on Rahman says a lot - this guy isn't in Lewis' top 5 opponents.
Even then, were talking about a two time heavyweight champion. He certainly ranks higher than Chisora, who is third (and last) on Fury's list of credible opponents.
And a quick mention for the 1-1 comment. This isn't ladies tennis where the third set decides. Lewis went in as champion and came out as champion via a rematch. It's how the sport works.REDEEMER likes this.

If you face a guy a number of times, you credit all of those fights.
Why is that important? Because some guys will go 1-1 even against some like Rahman. Going 2-0-1 against Wilder is extremely impressive.
Ask AJ, he would know. He would be lucky to get 1 win in those 3 fights.
