Wilder has one of the weakest resumes in the history of heavyweight champions . That’s not exactly proving you were the best . What makes it worse is the 3 losses to the same guy while declining undisputed and admitted at least his team did that they thought Fury wasn’t going to be as ready when the first fight initially happened .
Hes not only had a severe career of carefully picking fights catered to him but he known widely for his comical excuse list almost as much as his knock outs and that’s what many fans remember him for . Wilder is like a bad B movie come to life . Not in a million years would anyone think a real person like that exists in and out of the ring . From crazy arrests , beating up statues to using baby oil and costumes among many zany things to say when taking a loss .Last edited by REDEEMER; 12-13-2021, 12:58 PM.Comment

Whatever Wilder's is, Aj's is worse. The one time he fought outside of his bubble, he got KOed. If one of him or Wilder is a bum, it's obvious who it is.

O.K maybe you just don’t get the first sentence I posted pretty much ends this subject ?
Wilder has never defended a title outside his comfort zone either besides the gift decision of a draw he got .Last edited by REDEEMER; 12-13-2021, 01:02 PM.Comment

This has to be my favourite post on this site. Wlad was more in his prime after Fury schooled him because this plays into the master narrative of AJ still being the man despite having been exposed twice as not awfully good. It's up there with your other theory that even if Fury becomes undisputed he shouldn't have any credit for that because he won't 'represent' the division correctly by giving interviews to IFL like he's doing a TED talk. Stay humble. What is exactly Klitschko prime ? He’s lost a few fights at every stage of his career . I know however looking at Wlad he was very difficult to defeat going into the AJ fight , against Fury ? Easy to see Klitschko didn’t go into that with much enthusiasm ,beating him twice in a row is entirely different story ,it’s a hard truth most on the forum doesn’t want to hear . I myself I’d have Klitschko winning the rematch against Fury ,I believe the Wilder fights shows us many things Wlad would take advantage of .Last edited by Brumsongs1; 12-13-2021, 05:35 PM.Comment

What's interesting is. We are 13 pages into this post and there have only been a handful of guys who answered the initial question. But Fury fans sure do have a lot to say about everything else. Once you go past a 39 year old Klitschko and an overrated Wilder, all you have is 11 loss Chisora, an OK cruiserweight in Cunningham and a LOT of bums on his record. Fury turned pro 13 years ago and for his resume to be this thin, this late, is inexcusable. For him to only fight twice in two years and 7 times in 6 years is inexcusable. Yet Fury fans have every possible excuse for him. Mental illness, depression, just came back from retirement, tune up fight. Next month it'll be 14 years of boxing for Fury and we struggle to name 5 good names on his resume.Comment

The funny thing is even Peter Fury said AJ is getting a harder Klitschko to beat because he’s coming more aggressive and he said he warned Tyson he has to be better then last time .when that rematch fight was going to happen. Con****uously after that statement maybe a few weeks ,Fury pulled out of the rematch . Despite this , posters will just ignore what’s real and what’s not . Wlad retired because he wanted to be the best ,only AJ derailed him and he knew the odds were stacked against him not Fury who he would still fight if the fight was offered to him .

Prime is also a funny subject, posters just randomly pick when ones prime is ,prime itself is when one is at their best it doesn’t actually have a time limit .,obviously if a fighter is in his late 40”s it’s a different story but that fighter could still be smarter which somewhat can make other deteriorated skills less important or minimize the importance of loss of speed and such .
