So...credit to Canelo for taking the risk when he didn't have to.
He absolutely had to, he refused to fight Andrade, refused to fight Jermall Charlo, refused to fight Jermell Charlo, who else was he supposed to fight at 154?

But you just said he would be fighting a naturally smaller 154 pounder. So surely he wouldn't get any credit for that, right? But since it never did happen, you guys can cling to this story that Golovkin ducked Lara and that he wasn't as avoided as many would have you believe.

Lara was naturally smaller, yes. But he still would have been arguably the best opponent Golovkin had faced up to that point.

I don't disagree but he could have easily put himself into a position to make that fight and then we would have really seen who didn't want t. But once again, I don't think that Golovkin avoided Lara, as I don't put much into these "callouts." Dropping titles or passing up actual offers are another story, and neither of those happened in this case.

according to WBO rules, a champion can force a mandatory if he moves up

Canelo is right there for the taking Andrade-tards... where your boy at ???

                  Golovkin said...

                  1) Lara is not a draw

                  2) Lara needs to move up to middleweight, if he wants that fight

                  then Golovkin...

                  1) selected a bunch of unknown scrubs

                  2) selected Kell Brook, who had never fought at middleweight

it is pretty obvious whats up man

I realize not every guy had to do that, but it did help that they were already at MW and weren't asking the price that he was.

                    what a weak childish excuse

Lara offered to fight Golovkin at 160

FACT: Canelo had the balls to fight Lara

FACT: Golovkin did not have the balls to fight Lara

But GGG ducked Lara, not nearly as shameful, but still a duck.

stop talking shlt, you literally made up that garbage

FACT: Canelo selected Lara, against the wishes of his promoter

Canelo told Richard Schaefer to make that fight when Oscar was in rehab... when Oscar found out, he was PlSSED !

and stop talking shlt about Charlo/Andrade

FACT: Andrade is the WBO middleweight champ... he can move up to 168, and instantly become Canelo's mandatory

you are dreaming if you think that either of those guys can beat Canelo, Andrade would have almost no chance at all of winning
