Lol he was completely exonerated, both USADA and the NV Commission sad he did nothing wrong. What is wrong with using an IV for water? IT's not like he was using PEDs like Canelo. Just WATER.Comment

Left-Handed Lara: Golovkin Will Never Fight Me Now
Erislandy Lara and Canelo Alvarez haven’t agreed on much over the past year, but the junior middleweights were on the same page regarding Gennady Golovkin’s performance Saturday night. Neither fighter was overly impressed by how Golovkin looked during his mostly one-sided, sixth-round technical knockout victory over Willie Monroe Jr. at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Lara: Fans Will Get Tired of Golovkin's Easy Fights, He Needs Me
WBA/IBO junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (23-2-2, 13KOs) is ready and waiting to get a crack at WBC/WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs).
Lara To Golovkin: I've Called You Out a Few Times, Let's Fight!
This past Saturday night at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, WBA/IBO junior middleweight world champion Erislandy 'The American Dream' Lara (23-2-2, 13KOs) successfully defended his titles with a hard-fought twelve round unanimous decision over Vanes "The Nightmare" Martirosyan.
Lara: There'll Come a Time When Golovkin Won't Have an Excuse
WBA/IBO junior welterweight champion Erislandy Lara (23-2-2, 13KOs) is wondering what he needs to do to get WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) in the ring.
Lara's Manager: Everyone is Avoiding Golovkin? We're Ready!
Luis DeCubas Jr., manager of IBO and WBA super welterweight world champion Erislandy Lara 23-2-2 (13 KO's), believes the fight with Yuri Foreman - scheduled for January 13 at Hialeah Park Racing & Casino, Hialeah, Florida - is a good way to keep the Cuban active while they wait for better challenges in 2017.Comment

He called Canelo out in that first article I clicked on, lol. The 4th one. The funny thing, is Lara calls out or talks sh.it on Canelo in all 5 of those links you sent me actually.
People say sh.it all the time about wanting to fight. Sometimes it's true, sometimes not. My 2 cents is that not many guys were lining up to face GGG while he was steamrolling guys, and wasn't a big star really so couldn't pay them any money. It wasn't a bad business move to mention his name though, get attention, and maybe gain some anti-GGG fans who would eat it all up.
If you think he really tried to make that fight, good for you. I don't but to each his own. I also think Lara would have been too small. If Angulo gave him serious problems, I think GGG would have gotten the job done. So I don't see him as the boogeyman for GGG.Comment

Erislandy Lara kept calling Golovkin out, over a period of several years.

And here's someone asking Lara at 1:20 if he could fight at 160 and he responds "no, 154, 154...154." So what's the point of saying he'll fight Golovkin if he has no intention of fighting at 160? Which he didn't end up doing until 6 years later?Comment

Speaking of weight draining. For all of the noobs who are just jumping on Canelo's bandwagon and are saying he was drained for the Floyd fight. He was the one who asked for the fight at 150 before it was changed to 152.

Golovkin claimed he was avoided but somehow found a way to swerve the name fighters who were willing to face him (Erislandy Lara, Andre Ward.)
