The Isaac Cruz Bandwagon

I have deep seated prejudices. When I look at fighters under 150 pounds... I look at my wife who is 115 pounds or so... and I usually can't look at them the same. It's me, I am the awipe... but I see midget fighting.

But even I make an exception when I see that which is exceptional. Isaac Cruz is exceptional.. He is a handsome face for boxing... a no BS, go getter, with youth on his side. His chops... excellent body punching, excellent head movement, which goes into defensive abilities... Cruz is defensively responsible make no mistake about it!

He made me a fan. Who is with me??

I said it as soon as the fight was over Cruz has won me over. He’s a beast and his chin is titanium can’t wait for his next fight.

While I didn’t think he won the fight, I think the whole boxing world (me included) views him a a considerably better fighter than we thought. He’s pretty damned solid to say the least.

Isaac Cruz, along with George Kambosos, are fighters that i had never seen before but have definitely won me over as fans. Very tough, skilled and confident fighters for sure. Would actually be very interested in seeing them matchup in the near future as well.

He won me over, I made a thread before I got to see the fight asking if Tank was exposed or just having an off night and after watching I just think Tank had a tough night against a real tough and technically sound fighter who had yet to make waves.

Lets see if Cruz gets another opportunity against a top guy and how he does.

love or hate Tank he’s a proven hitter and he landed his fair share of shots on Cruz and he couldn’t even dent him.
