I'm trying to think of a Body snatcher, Cotto type body puncher at this weight... I'm coming up blank. Cruz hurt Tank to the body at least a few times.

Can anyone think of a body puncher from years passed at welter and below?

Barrera was a helluva body puncher in his early days before he transition to a boxer puncher.

The guy has the type of style that will give really good boxers trouble. It is fun to have guys like that around. Pressure fighter that has some defensive responsibility.

Was warning a lot of people that Pitbull would not be easy for Tank at all

First seen him ShowBox next generation vs Thomas Mattice, a guy who was getting a lot of hype but never really lived up to it. Cruz was relentless against him and just kept working and kept coming forward and edged that one out. After that he impressively broke down and stopped Magdaleno on Tank vs Santa Cruz undercard. So yeah I've noticed him for awhile but that effort made him a STAR. He is only 23 years old so Tank caught him very Early lucky for him!

But even I make an exception when I see that which is exceptional. Isaac Cruz is exceptional.. He is a handsome face for boxing... a no BS, go getter, with youth on his side. His chops... excellent body punching, excellent head movement, which goes into defensive abilities... Cruz is defensively responsible make no mistake about it!

He made me a fan. Who is with me??
He's like a miniature JCC Sr!
