Benn on the other hand, 22 fight amateur, and 19-0 as a pro, so about half the total experience.

Even if you disregard the amateur experience. Compare like for like competition at the same stage in the pros... In fights 18-20 Benn has been fighting gatekeepers with a combined record of 77-17. Ennis on the hand for those fights fought guys with a combined 62-36-4.

I do want to see Benn fight a contender/champion for a regional title next, somebody looking up their career rather than down. But, people shouldn't pretend that Boots was taking on higher quality opponents at the same stage of development because it's BS.
Benn beat Formella, S Vargas and Granados easily.

And this is the same level oppoistion as Ortiz jr. and Boots fight.

Yeah that was kind of my point, he's reached that level with much less experience than Boots. Yet some of the posters on here **** on about Boots but can't wait to criticise Benn's standard of opposition. It's really strange.

Benn struggled with f***ing Cedrick Peynaud, you seriously think Ortiz and Ennis struggle with that dude?

Ekow Essuman beat Peynaud way more convincingly than Benn too, so by your logic Essuman > Benn. You can’t have it both ways…
conor is only 25, yes he got caught a bit off guard in that fight but he was just a kid, remember fury struggled against mcdermott when he was young, many thought he lost!! connor is improving at a faster pace than anyone in that division, jsut tune in on saturday night and dont make excuses

“Don’t make excuses”. Yet you’ve just made several about them Peynaud.

Algieri hasn’t been relevant for 6 years, he’s a well past his prime and he’s a Light Welterweight. If Benn doesn’t stop him it’s embarrassing.

I won’t be watching either, when Benn fights a for a legitimate title then maybe I’ll tune in.

Funny, people hype American guys fighting gatekeepers, but they trash Benn for the same reason. Delusional American casuals.
no. he isnt. both guys would splatter him inside 2 rounds.

you might wanna watch the fight where he gets dropped twice against a street sweeper first.
