My eye-test marks out of ten as of now
    Ennis 9.5
    Ortiz 8.5
    Avanesyan 6.5
    Benn 5
Algieri was a 6 but probably a 3.5 now due to age and especially inactivity.

Conor Benn is going to challenge for World Titles, he is Eddie Hearn's second favorite fighter just behind Anthony Joshua.

I don't think he is gifted in ways like his father was, but I like what he is doing 'His attitude and passion for the game'.

Long as he keeps that attitude, he will get something out of the game.

I think before he goes onto world level, he should at-least go for the British title. Benn can win the British title after Algieri.

But I think Hearn & Benn will keep going for the biggest most marketable, winnable fights. So I would expect after his next fight, he will be facing the winner of Brook vs Khan etc.

I think he can become WORLD LEVEL! People being a bit negative towards the kid I guess because he is the son of a legend and yeah often times Sons of Legends never live up to much but I think Eddie is moving and building up Conor the proper way. It is completely on him and if he can improve, with respects to Tony Sims who seems like a cool guy and is a respectable Trainer but for Benn to get to that World Level he is going to need to come to America and get on board with one of these ELITE Trainers. Also get better Sparring in and around his Division here in America!

yep, people are talking like he is some bum on here yet hes 25 and 12th in world already on boxrec. he is improving every fight too. Tony Sims is a very good trainer though, good fit for conor imo

For those moaning about this fight and ignoring Benns lack of amateur record in the comparison but here is the matches 19 fights in ..

(Not saying Benn is as good as any of these guys)

                  At 19 fights ..
                  vS Record Result boxrec rating
                  Crawford Sidney Siqueira 19 6 1 TKO 2*
                  Ortiz jr Egidijus Kavaliauskas 22 1 1 TKO 4* (only 18 fights)
                  Ennis Samuel Amoako 23 17 0 TKO 1*
                  Benn Chris Algieri 25 3 0 TKO 4*
                  Errol Spence Alejandro Barrera 26 2 0 TKO 2*

Looks a good fight to me (not saying its the best fight in the world, or boxrec is perfect)

.. and rant away .. first one to mention eye test wins ,,

Who? Vargas? He didn’t win a second vs either of them. As I said delusional.

Benn struggled with f***ing Cedrick Peynaud, you seriously think Ortiz and Ennis struggle with that dude?

Ekow Essuman beat Peynaud way more convincingly than Benn too, so by your logic Essuman > Benn. You can’t have it both ways…

Dropping people ain't all that hard keeping them down or convincing the ref they can't take no more is the issue... so I stand by what I said.
