Well said, sounds quite accurate
Imagine Willie Monroe who clearly beat a young and green Marvin Hagler ****ting on him 8 years later, saying he was easy work. While Willie Monroe being retired. It's a ***** move, if you think it's easy work why not beat him again since it's the same fighter?
Same if some kid beat your ass in the second grade is now talking **** to you in high school about you being easy work, that talk warrants a fight. Unless Mayweather wants to run it back he's just looking like a bitter old man. He should be happy Canelo is doing great things but he can't get over the fact that another man is getting the praise.Comment

Wow, nice breakdown on the figures and numbers man
Stop acting like that exhibition was something to be proud of. The exhibition vs the Paul bro was half the price of Canelo/Plant, on a Sunday and versus an extremely famous youtuber. Canelo's fight was at $80, did 800,000 on the same night UFC's biggest fight card was on. Fraud/Paul did 1 million buys at $50, Canelo/Plant 800K at $80. Do the math, which fight made more? While we're at it Canelo/Plant's live gate was $17million, what was Fraud/Paul's live gate?
Fraud/Paul was viewed by a million homes in the US? Canelo who isn't American was viewed by 800,000 in a country that's not his and in his native country of Mexico, was viewed by 20 million homes. So exactly why would anyone be mad about that measly exhibition fight? Come to think of it, with those Mexico numbers, the Canelo/Plant fight was neither out viewed nor outsold.Comment

"Floyd started talking about Canelo at the presser unprompted" -- Mike CoppingerBoxing Media are the ones who Bring Canelo up to Mayweather, he doesn't randomly bring up Canelo to be fair
Today's boxing media is complete GARBAGE. Majority of these guys really don't know much about boxing and they now give Credentials to ANYBODY including some IDIOT on youtube with 100 Subscribers whom all they do is post and say negative stuff about boxers and have taken sides and from what I've heard it is guys getting paid and/or getting little Perks to Kiss Ass while bashing other promoters and fighters who are not with the Promoter that is quietly rewarding these guys to make a fool of themselves

ery true man well said.No one on PBC island commands the amount of money and attention that Canelo does, that's what has Floyd bent out of shape. Floyd isn't jealous, he's angry that he had a hand in creating the monster that Canelo has become. Canelo went to PBC, got a humongous purse, took Plant's title and kept it moving. Davis will most likely never have the ability to move like that, nor will Floyd even allow him to try.
The money that PBC invested in Canelo, anyone else believe that some of that could've been earmarked for Davis? That could also explain Floyd's bitterness.
I mean, if it isn't jealousy, then it definitely is bitterness thenComment

Yup, I agree.
I think Floyd feels that he needs to be in that spotlightComment

I mean, Leonard blocked me on Twitter for challenging him on the facts of the opponents that Tank should face soon.

That's a very interesting angle to look at it,
Others will never get the chance. Like Ali fighting Antonio Inoki the wrestler.
Does he want the spotlight? Maybe. But that doesn’t mean everything he does can be forced into that narrative.
That’s my point regarding this rant. Given the context it clearly wasn’t that he just out of the blue talked about canelo. It seemed calculated to bring media attention to one of his events.
Is he starved for media attention or is he using the media to project an image he feels helps his bottom line?
But I am not so sure it's that. Just look at his demeanor when he speaks of Canelo, seems quite honest, genuine and sincere to me.Comment

Very true concerning Floyd's resume.
He fought Corrales who was on the p4p list, Marquez, Mosley who was 3 and many many more. Don't forget Genara Hernandez, prime Judah, Oscar who is a legend, Hatton who is a legend, Pacquio who is a p4p great and a legend, always fought guys coming off of dominating wins
Those are one of the few reasons he is one of my all time fav fightersComment
