Why couldn't Floyd shut up about Canelo??

Seems like Floyd was constantly mentioning Canelo on the leadup to Tank v Pitbull and after.

    Why is that?
Some say Floyd is jealous of Canelo, others say it's Floyd using Canelo's name for marketing.

    What do you say???????

He answered questions asked of him. When any other boxer does this posters say just that.

When it’s Floyd that answers questions, it is over exaggerated, made into something else, then forced into some silly narrative that Floyd is jealous of a guy he beat it is using their name.

Why his is still being done at this point makes no sense.

      I feel you.
But I still think there's more to it.

He was answering the questions. That’s always been his attitude as well. Pretty boy, the villain, TBE, etc…

I loved it when he was fighting. So much anticipation around his fights. Non boxing but it’s the reason I love watching Adesanya and O’Malley.

No one asked him about Canelo, pretty boy Floyd just brought him up randomly during his rants… I’m glad he made “smart investments” tho.

Canelo living in Gayweather's head rent free.

Fraud acting like a scorned hoe that got dumped. He beat Canelo, he has more money than Canelo, yet can't stop talking about him. He's mad that he's the one Mexican fighter PBC can't control. He's mad that for years before PBC was a thing, Oscar was the one that used to sign his checks, and when it was his turn to "sign" Canelo's checks, Canelo got that IBF belt and bolted. He's mad that Canelo, a red headed Mexican is the face of boxing, making $40 million plus, did $17 million at the gate and 800K in PPV sales on the same night that UFC's biggest stacked card of the year was competing against it. Mad that Stank is regulated to fighting on a Sunday night because everything that Saturday night was more interesting and wouldn't have cost $80 to view on tv. Mad that the cherry picked Mexican they got fought back and their plan to KO another inept Mexican backfired on them.

                    Well said.
Yeah, when Floyd was fighting, he REALLY drew in the eyeballs definitely.
