he was exposed. i said it time and time again, i have no idea why loma didnt choose to box until round 6 but when he did he won 5 of the last 6 rounds. hed have won a rematch easy. lopez is a flash in the pan, hype job and hes got nowhere to go from here.

But his situation takes a turn for the worse again and old wounds reopen. Kambosos ends up beating him.
Some guys can keep it together through all the ups and downs. While some are too mercurial.
However, my guess is that he's probably had familial issues at other times in his career (going by he and his father's behavior) that didn't impact his prior ring performances. What impacted his performance most was an opponent who was dealing with a laundry list of issues himself but remained focused and executed his gameplan near flawlessly.billeau2 likes this.
