Teo would have a hard time with anyone in the top 5 let alone Josh Taylor. Someone else posted it, let Teo get a new trainer and 2 tune up fights to acclimate to 140 and the ntake on the top 5 and champion.

Teo struggled to find distance and range tonight. He doesn't usually have to work for it because he is a naturally gifted fighter athletically and usually finds himself in position to touch you with the jab, find the range, and let the right hand go.

Kambo did a great job of staying out of range and controlling the distance with his feet, and then getting in and out/countering. Lopez didn't do well enough with his feet to get in position to control the distance and find the jab.

Kambo did still have to take a lot of hard shots from Lopez that would have put down a lot of others.

I don't know if all the top guys at 140 can take those shots. I don't think all of them would necessarily be as good as controlling range/distance either. Kambo did it very well, and I'm sure someone like Taylor could do it similarly.

However, you are playing with fire the whole fight, still. Not an easy gameplan to execute. You have to be tough as nails. Not sure if any of those guys are as tough as Kambo was tonight.

This was the best thing to happened to Teo because he needed to come back to earth and be humbled. He shouldn't move up to 140, get a new trainer, and work on his defense.

I don't think he'll be a complete bust post-135 like someone like Brandon Rios was. Dude has serious speed and power... definitely should not go straight to Taylor.

I wonder if Mikey Garcia likes his chances there.... Lopez-Garcia would be a big fight if Garcia is interested.

Not sure if he can carry his power at 140. Most top guys at 140, except Prograis are not big punchers but they have great technical abilities and quite stacked. Jumping straight to the likes of Ramirez, Prograis, let alone Tank and Taylor would be risky. I see all of them can beat Teo comfortably. Baranchyk or gate keeper Postol are more suitable.

For me moving forward he needs a better trainer that can give him technical advice and help improve his fundamentals while he is still relatively young as I put a lot of the blame on his father personally. He was clearly fixated with a first round knockout and got it into his head to go looking for the K.O which got him put on his a55, there was no instructions or advice on how to adjust, truth or anything but delusional, embarrassing talk coming from that corner. He's as **** of a trainer as he is person.
Yeah. That was the worst plan ever. I have no idea who came up with that plan. Teofimo is a fantastic back foot boxer but not so much on the front foot. He needed to play the counter punching game with Kambosos.

Did you notice that when Joey Ganache was in his corner, he was having spectacular performances? Commey? Loma? Then when Ganache is gone, his performances are bad? Nakatani? Kambosis? Hmmm.......

Let’s not forget, this guy beat Loma

The guy who beat Loma didn’t show up last night at all. In fact, he was frustratingly amateurish at times… keeping his hands low, lunging with uppercuts etc

Kambosos mentally defeated Lopez before the fight, and dismantled him in the ring. What great champions do

Perhaps Lopez is one of those who requires a sports psychologist. Even his trash talk seems a bit too raw and emotionally driven. He’s still very young and was practically thrown into the limelight. His Father also needs to take a step backwards..

If were' being honest, the judges beat Loma. I can score that fight either way, 115 -113 either way, and a draw was the most appropriate score. That's not to take away from Teofimo did with Loma, but he had Gamache in his corner. He had Gamache in his corner for Commey too.

But aside form that, lunging and leaping with hooks and uppercuts is what Teofimo does. That's his MO in the ring. That's how he fights. He's not growing as a boxer, unfortunately. That stuff works with B level fighters but not with top level fighters.

Truth is that Kambosos exposed Teofimo. Just like Loma did from round 6 to round 12 when he fought him.

I agree with the latter part of your post
But how can you claim the judges beat Loma, when you yourself concede that you can see the fight for Lopez also?
