Do you not give canelo credit for his defense? It is one of the 4 scoring criteria after all. Prior to the canelo fight, ggg landed 46% of his power punches in his previous 13 fights. But in the canelo fight that dropped to 32%.

Also in 8 of the 10 rounds that ggg out landed canelo, the difference in landed punches was 5 punches or less. Now, since compubox can't measure the effectiveness of a landed punch, isn't there the possibility that canelo landed the cleaner punches in some of those rounds??

I'm not saying canelo won the fight but I don't think he lost it 8-4 or 9-3. A couple of hard rounds to score in there. A close fight that I scored a draw. And I'm not a Stan (as the kids say) of either fighter. I like them both.

Incidentally how did you score the fight, Round by round??

That's still VERY high connect rate for power punches = Effective Aggresion

So Canelo has two now. Defense and Effective Aggresion.

Second fight he made GGG fight like we've never seen before. Afraid to go to the body or throw combos! And Canelo was walking him back.

          = Ring Generalship.

          That's 3 now.

Hard and Clean punches!! I'll take combos, body work and high connect rate over a back footed jab all day!

          That's 4!!!

For someone to say ggg won BOTH times 8-4 DKSAB and had their card filled out before the fight or was just zooming into GGG's crotch the entire fight hoping to get dic picks from ggg...

Don't know about the crotch and the **** pics but I agree with alot of what u said.
I've watched both fights on numerous occasions and can't separate them.
I also scored ward kovalev a draw and thought floyd beat castillo handily in the first fight but we won't go there!!!

GGG went from being favored to beat Canelo by KO, to being reduced to “he landed the jab doe”.

That is what you GGG fans see as a win. GGG landing his jabs.

That’s a huge feat from Canelo, to humble down his ****** ass haters to the point where he changed your fcking minds about what to expect GGG to do to him.

A big fcking difference. From “Canelo is getting KO’ed” to “GGG’s jabs doe”. That dude humbled all of you all the way down. Nobody dared to predict GGG by KO for the rematch. Canelo pretty much collectively smacked all of you little haters at once. Now you recognize. Hype up those jabs, that’s all you got to cling on
You don't count 'jabs' or 'power punches' lol

You watch the rounds, and count scoring punches, and evaluate them for effectiveness. All punches are not equal. All jabs are not soft. All 'power punches' are not super hard.

You sound pretty emotional man. The lengths you guys have to go to, to try to find a 'win' for Canelo in those 2 fights is hilarious. 'Well GGG was supposed to KO him' 'Haha you score jabs haha'

You guys are a wreck lol

Anyone saying Ward-Kov 1 was a draw is a complete idiot lol. Besides the KD, which makes it virtually impossible to score it a draw, Ward was fortunate to get 4 rounds. He got dominated the first half, and the last half was competitive. With the 10th round being the clearest one, in Kov's favor.

You don't need to give your opinions on how you scored fights. You obviously have no idea what you're doing.

                  lol..............

The lengths you fools go to, to try and get a Canelo win lololololol

How about - you watch the rounds and see who does the better work - ie who lands the better punches/more punches - in the those rounds? lol

Keep it up with that wacky scoring system you have though. Very funny.

If we fight, and I land 10 punches, and miss 10, and you land 2 punches and miss 1. I win. It's obvious stuff. That people have to change their scoring criteria is a joke.

If I don't even allow you to throw punches, how good is my defense? Do I get credit for that?

If you want to talk about clean, hard punching - there is hardly a punch in boxing right now that lands harder and cleaner than GGG's jab. So if that's what you're focusing on, be sure to remember that when you're scoring for the other guy.

That's the problem with trying to come up with a new scoring system every fight, to try and get your guy the win lol. You tie yourself in knots.

                    -----

Both fights played out the same way. The first 4 or so rounds were tight and pretty even, Canelo's speed and quickness helps to neutralize GGG's workrate. Then as the fight goes on, Canelo slows down, and GGG settles in, and starts to pile up rounds. The last couple of rounds in each fight are competitive again when Canelo gets a 2nd wind to end the fight.

Man I don't know what your smoking but it must be some good sht!!!

GGG threw like 550 jabs and ONLY landed 21%

While Canelo threw body shots, combos,, etc.. Most his punches were POWER punches landing at a RIDICULOUS
