Crawford insulted a furious Arum at that press conference. Arum wants to set Crawford up for a robbery loss against Taylor as payback. Why would arum want Taylor to fight Crawford since crawford doesn’t do good numbers and Taylor has plenty other options. Just like pacquiao vs Bradley and Horn

Taylor's best bet would be to take that Crawford fight first, sloss to Crawford would not devastate his career, however if Teo or Mattias get to him he will greatly devalued. Look what happened to Warrington.

1.5-2million numbers that's AJ level only.

It's just ****** if he believes that he's senile, it's not even debatable.

It is a good fight though, i'd like to see it,

"“I think it’s more [lucrative] because of the UK element,” Arum told a small group of reporters. “You have to understand, Taylor is huge in the UK, so is Crawford. We can do 70,000 seats and do probably a million-and-a-half, two million pay-per-view [buys]. "
That's right! Both guys are relatively unknown. That fight isn't a 50k stadium fight in UK or a big ppv seller either.
Taylor isn't a ****** guy as far as his boxing career goes and I can't see him stepping up to fight Crawford in his first fight at 147.

Taylor is most certainly not huge in the UK.

He's not even that huge in Scotland where he hails from. He needs to build his profile more because he's probably Britain's best fighter right now.

just cant help but feel that the contract for this fight would read something like this, Bud you will give top rank at least 3 more fight after the Josh fight or the judges will be rigged against you like we ( top rank) rigged the judges against Pacman before he left when he fought Horn.....

or maybe it will read like this if you dont give us (top rank) 3 more fights after signing for a taylor fight we will put you under legal litigation for 2+ years and ruin your career and your prime years like we did to Mickey Garcia......

i hope bud gets his head on straight and get out while he can.
