Straight up facts. It was obvious 10 years ago that he was a very special fighter, much more of a special fighter than Canelo Alvarez was or ever could be.

Crawford is an excellent fighter.

The fight should have been very close on the cards going into the 10th, but from
6 or 7 rounds you could see clear adjustments from Crawford. Porter was becoming just a fraction slower closing the range and Crawford was starting to get control of the fight.

It was close on the cards though because Porter won plenty of early rounds too, but after 8 or 9, you could see the fight would start slipping away from him even if it had gone 12.

Crawford is elite, he did enough good work in the fight to get Porter to become more reckless and a fraction slower later in the fight, even if Porter was winning rounds.

That’s how elite fighters operate though, they know it’s a 12 round fight and they understand how to manage it against front runners like Porter.

No doubt Porter had moments of good work, fights are 12 rounds if you watch the corner in the last round as bud came out it looked to me like they told him your behind and he shook his head in disbelief turned and focused tunnel vision, then hunted him down and stopped him, I think Kenny Porter seen that next level come out and didn't want Shawn put to sleep.

TC is a hell of a fighter, he has a vulnerability that lets fighters into the match then he turns up the heat another notch and gets them outa there.

But that's the problem. What happens when he's in there with a puncher like Ortiz? Or someone who can switch and make the proper adjustments like Ennis? Or someone who applies relentless pressure with a great jab and elite inside fighting like Spence? I honestly don't know who's the best Welterweight right now because they're not fighting each other.
