Redeemer lied to you. Martin never turned anything down. The IBF has never said Hrgovic vs Hunter was a final eliminator. Martin is #2 because he won an eliminator. #1 is vacant. Hrgovic is #3 because you can't get into the top two in the IBF without winning an eliminator.Comment

Not asking you to opine. I'm just filling you in since I happen know. Redeemer is just a troll.
The IBF is very straight forward. #1 & #2 are left vacant. You must win an eliminator to fill one of them. Any two fighters in the top 15 can go to the IBF and say "hey we're willing to fight each other if you'll put the winner in the top 2!" The IBF says yes 99% of the time. If those fighters are in the top 5, the IBF will install the winner at #1. If they're not in the top 5, the IBF will install the winner at #2.
Charles Martin and Gerald Washington were both in the top 15, went to the IBF and say "hey we're willing to fight each other if you'll put the winner in the top 2!" The IBF said no problem, Martin won the fight, and becomes #2.
Hrgovic & Hunter were going to fight for the #1 spot. The winner of that fight would have had to fight Martin in a final eliminator. Since that fight fell apart, and Martin has already fought an eliminator and been waiting a long time for somebody to fill the #1 spot to fight him, he's being allowed to fight Ortiz. That's the way the IBF works. If Hrgovic can't get anyone in the top 15 to fight him, that's his problem.

But, depending on what the rotation order is for mandos, Usyk could end up vacating or getting stripped, in which case the Martin-Ortiz winner would fight Hrgovic for the vacant strap (unless someone else fights a #2 eliminator before then, in which case Hrgovic is on the outside looking in.........Last edited by OnePunch; 11-18-2021, 10:14 PM.Comment

Either way everyone behind the scenes have been told to avoid Hrgovic for a reason but that’s the sport their in someone has to lose and take chances to get a legit title fight which also always isn’t the case ,see Wilders resume where not one guy actually defeated a top guy to get a title shot with him . In the end it’s prize fighting you aren’t supposed to turn down highest paydays or fights that lead to them .Last edited by REDEEMER; 11-19-2021, 09:15 AM.Comment

The IBF would have said Hearn is lying all that time and Hrgovic claims of offering every available guy an offer was a lie but they didn’t ,the IBF went on to remove Hunter from its top ten and so forth . What final elimination bout did Martin win to get number 2 can you answer that ?
Everyone knows you lie on here so ? We just didn’t know it would continue when your ridiculous Wilder fronts were gone .Last edited by REDEEMER; 11-19-2021, 09:38 AM.Comment

Hunter was removed from the top 10 for turning down a SEMI-FINAL eliminator with Hrgovic.
