Again, unlike the WBC, IBF don't fool around. There will be no final eliminator without Hirgovic.
Please show me where the IBF stated that Hrgovic vs Hunter was a final eliminator. Just because Eddie Hearn calls something a final eliminator doesn't mean it is.

Charles Martin won an eliminator to earn the #2 position. If he wins another eliminator, he is mandatory. Had Hrgovic won an eliminator for the #1 spot, Martin wouldn't be able to get around him, but since Hrgovic hasn't won an eliminator and Martin has, Hrgovic is left in the cold.

IBF rules are very clear that they encourage voluntary eliminators to fill the top positions. Martin has managed to get ranked fighters to agree to fight him. Hrgovic hasn't. Martin was under no obligation to fight Hrgovic because Hrgovic hadn't won an eliminator yet.

Anyone paying PPV for this trash contest is an absolute idiot. You’ve got an over the hill under achiever in one corner and a the worst HW world champ in history in the other, it should barely make 3rd slot on an undercard.

Not really PPV main event worthy, but its an interesting fight. If Ortiz doesnt take Martin out comfortably and fairly quickly its not a good look for Wilder.

              A 60 year old Cuban grandpa headlining a PPV? That's a first.

Why is someone an idiot if they buy it? I might consider it. $40 is nothing & I can afford it. My new years eve no longer includes heavy drinking with large amounts of ******* & MDMA so this is something that is way cheaper than the yesteryear NYE parties…

Wilder beat him twice years ago. How is it a bad look?

Martin is not that bad, he always lets his hands go. His fight with Kownacki was full of action and very entertaining. I expect this to be a good fight, that is what we need, top 20 guys fighting each other.

I totally agree. I think it’s a decent card. Demerezin i thought exposed Ajagba even though he lost a close decision. He took Efa’s best punches & fought back all 10 rounds. I think he takes out Washington. He showed me Efa wasn’t some scary unbeatable HW.
